You and B/N were getting ready for bed.
He was brushing his teeth while you changed into pyjamas.
As soon as you two were done with your routines, you climbed into bed together.
You immediately cuddled up into him. But he rolled you to the other side.
"What'd you do that for?"
"I wanna be a big spoon."
You laughed at his words but welcomed his embrace anyway. The feeling of his chest against your back is just so comforting. His breath steady and warm. His arms around your waist, making you feel safer than anything.
You both spent a good while in silence trying to sleep. When B/N thought you were asleep, he sighed and started stroking your hair.
"Y/N, I know I don't say this much but I want to start saying it more often. Thank you. Thank you so much. Not just for being my girlfriend, but also for bringing light into my life. For always being there when I need you or not. For laughing at my jokes. For always reassuring me. For being by my side. And if it's possible, I'd like that to last. But, the point is, thank you. You mean the world to me and there is no way I'd trade you for anything."
He felt hands gripping on his arms. It was you. Trying to contain your tears. Hearing a hiccup, he immediately panicked.
"Babe, what's wrong?"
You faced him and kissed him softly. When you part, you looked to him and smiled.
"Thank you, too."
