My Life as a Teenage Witch (A One Direction Fanfic)

Chapter 1

Today is the first day of October! My favorite month. I think it's every ones favorite month here in Sleepy Hollow. No not the Sleepy Hollow of what you read in history. I don't live in your world, I live in another Galaxy. I'm 18 years old and i'm a witch. Yes those who fly on brooms and cast spells. every one here is different kind of monsters. Like my best friend is nymph. My bio teacher is a wizard. See every one is different. I've been living at home for to long, I want to go to Earth and see a human, i want to be one! Here in Sleepy Hollow, to be a witch is like the most popular girl in school. But i'm different, i'm really shy and i'm not popular i'm a freak. I can't even cast spell. My parents don't even think i'm their daughter because I can't be what they want. But life goes on.

I get dressed into my dark green witch rope. I'm going to Scary High Hollows.

"Mindy, we have to go" my mom yells.

"I'm coming" I shout back.

I run to the front door and there's my mom with her coffee. (Yes we have coffee here too). She points to the door and I open in it. I then give her a smile and she grabs her broom. I hop on the back and she zooms off.

"Mindy! Mindy! Mindy!" My best friend screams down the hall.

"What Angie" I smile.

"I-I-I" She trys to speak.

"Calm down. Breathe" I said putting my hands on her shoulders.

"Okay, you need to know- th-that" Someone taps me on the shoulder and it's Preston!

"Hey, Mindy" He said taking my hand.

"Hi" I said looking at my hand, it's warm and tinkly.

"So want to come to my Halloween bash" He asked.

Wait, Halloween is 31 days away. Why? Did i just say that out loud?

"Because I like you" He said.

I look up at him and I just see all of the lies he's telling me.

"Sure, well thinking about it, it's gonna have to be no. Sweetheart. Maybe you can find a girl dumb enough to fall for your asshole charm" I said pulling my hand away and grabbing Angie's hand. I walk quickly down the hall until I can't see him anymore.

"WOW, Mindy you got balls" She said patting my back.

"Come on lets get to class" I said pulling her.

"Welcome Mindy, Angie. Oh Mindy can I talk to you in the hallway" Mr. Igor said.

I follow Mr. Igor into the hallway.

"Mindy, I've notice you have a very high grade in my class. The school and I think you are ready for important task. This is your last year here" He said.

"Um, what is it" I asked.

"It's to travel to the world"

My eyes fly open and my heart beats fast. I've always wanted to go! I want to be free. I want so many things for myself but I could do them here in this town.

"But, you need to learn how to cast spells and to use your wand." He said crushing my dreams and hopes then stomping on then with his lack leather shoes.

"But I can't do it"

"I have a teacher that will help you. Her name is Mrs. Wells" He said giving me her card.

"What about my parents?"

"They agreed to it" He said.

"Okay i'll do it" I said.

He nods and walks back into his class.

"Tell no one" He said firm.

After class we had to go to home ick. I hate home ick, I can't be a monster cook, I can't even make eye stew. I suck at cooking. I sit next to my cooking buddy, James. He was one of the bad boys of the school. He never talked to me just when he needed something. James did most of the cooking to be honest. I was grateful for James, without him I would be falling this dumb class.

As soon as that bell rang I ran out of the classroom to run into Preston. Of all monsters it's Preston. I walk pasted him to my locker.

"Come on Mindy, can we talk" he said taking my hand.

"Leave me alone" I said ripping my hand away.

"Look. i'm popular and I like you so come on" He said stepping in front of me.

I roll my eyes. "Preston, you invited me to a bash that's 31 days away. You think i'm dumb? I have a mind" I said walking away.

"Mindy, So what I don't need you! The money wasn't worth it anyways" He calls out to me.

I walk up to him. "What are you talking about?" I said.

"There was a bet going on, the first creature to sleep with the most uptight girl gets 100 dollars!"

"Are you kidding me? For one i'm not uptight, for second go get a life"

"Whatever i'll find someone else, bitch"

"Don't call her that, asshole" Angie said.

"Shut up you stupid fairy" He set off the angery fariy then.

Angie's face turns red and her hand is boiling hot. She smacks him across the face and burns his pretty face.

"Can a little fairy do that" She yells as she pushes me down the hall.
