Deus In Absentia (Papa emeritus iii X reader)

The curtains swayed as the wind blew through the open window. The stars gleamed in the sky. Y/n had never been a morning person. For most of her life, she had always stayed up a little later than she should.
She sipped her red wine.
Y/n was startled by a firm knock on her door.
It was Cardnial.
Everyone got a small room in the church. Surprisingly the church was much bigger than you'd expect.
Cardnial looked at the open window for a minute before he spoke.
"Sister imperator wanted me to," he let out a subtle cough "tell you it's time to 'actually' go to bed."
Y/n rolled her eyes.
"Yea yea ok. Goodnight" she slowly shut the door.
Y/n quietly shut the window and tidied up the curtains.
She got in bed, got comfy and closed her eyes.

She tossed and turned for what seemed like forever.
Y/n peered at her clock 2:37am
She got out of bed and made her way to her door. Everybody's rooms we're pretty close so y/n stumbled to Papa 3's room.
She knocked quietly on his door. It took a minute for him to make it to the door.
He wore a loose blue tshirt and black shorts.
He rubbed his eyes before speaking.
"What do you need?" He let out a yawn.
"I can't sleep." Y/n looked down the hall to her left.
"Come in" Papa said slightly annoyed.
Y/n went in and sat down on the bed. She rubbed her eyes for a minute.
"What do you want to do? Watch tv or just sit?" Papa said in a more caring voice.
