Word quickly spread of Hannah's death. I acted like I didn't just run her off the road. I'm great with fake facial expressions.

I went to check on Alexis. Hannah was her coworker after all. "Hey babe, you okay?" I said as I entered. She was in a long daze and I startled her. "Oh, Connor. Didn't hear you come in." She gasped. "I can't believe she's gone. Such a young girl with a bright future ahead of her. She ran off not too far from here."

When I heard that I thought back of the argument Hannah and I had, and what I heard between her and Alexis. "Hey, hey there. Everything will be alright. You have Saturday to look to. You'll soon be mine." Alexis looked at me, "Why so soon though?" "The quicker you'll be my wife, the quicker you'll be able to be Justin's mother." I told her.

Alexis POV
After all of the commotion died down, I was thinking about the wedding. I didn't really love this man. But I needed to do it for the children. The girls needed their father and Justin needs a mother. And I need a child. I didn't want to risk getting pregnant again and the same thing will happen.

I called Stephanie to check up on the girls. "They're fine. How about you?" She said carefully. "I'm fine, thanks. Hey, I got a important question." I said. "How would you like to be my maid of honor?"

I heard Stephanie gasp with joy. "OF COURSE I WILL! I'm so happy for my brother and you!" She beamed. "Great, we'll get the dresses tomorrow." I said. We said goodbye to each other.

Morning came, I went to Stephanie's. We carpooled with our parents, Felicia, and some other good friends. The whole day we spent laughing and joking around in dress shops and picking out hairstyles. Our moms met with the wedding planner and was handling that.

We finally decided that the wedding was going to be on the beach. A sea shell theme. Stephanie and I were going to have French braids with sea shells in our hair. We gave the thoughts one final look and confirmed it. This was going to be a beautiful wedding.

Stephanie pulled me to the side. "I know you don't love my brother. It's okay, you don't have to do this. You don't have to make your own destiny." I smiled at her weakly. "I have to do this for the children and I will learn to love him." And with that, she left it alone.

Once everything was finalized, everyone went out to eat as a pre-celebration. We all finished and went home with our new dresses and jewelry. Tomorrow was the big day.
