All around the world are people who are different. Yes, those are the gays, bisexuals or the transgenders. And yes, are they the straight people. They're also those who are unwilling to accept the fact that not everyone is alike. Basically, those who are different are the homophobes, racist people, and others.
You shouldn't be against this kind of stuff, you should be with it. It's not fair that you can hate your friends just because they're not straight. What's wrong with liking the same gender? So what if they defy the rule 'Like poles repel'? They're still people and that doesn't change. Their personality doesn't change, their attitude toward straight friends won't change, pretty much nothing changes. Except, if they're crushing on you, which you should accepept and be flattered.
Gay rights has been something people have been demanding for for uite a while, and Wattpad does accept gays, right? Then why not add in an LGBT genre? That'd show how open you are to gays.
Being gay isn't something to be ashamed of. It's something to be proud of and if people write stories about gays, they should have a genre to put it in instead of just a tag. There are tags and genres for horror, tags and genres for chicklit. Why not for LGBT? What's wrong with an LGBT genre? Will it make people ill just to see LGBT under the categories section? It's a tag, so why not a genre?
