Chapter One

***********My POV***********

Of course everyone would be scared. I mean, it's the most ruthless and scary person alive. Natsu Dragneel. That was no mistake. Almost everyone is scared of him. Lucy Heartfilia. While everyone cowers in fear and stays to the side away from him, not moving an inch. She gets her things out of her locker and goes to class. Everyone was scared for Lucy's life. But instead of glaring at her, he just gave her a short and soft gaze. No one but Lucy saw, this made her smile a little. She liked it when he looked at her

~In Class~

" Okay class, get out your text books and read the first 10 pages of chapter 23 and write a summary on what happens. " The teacher said. Everyone but Lucy waited for Natsu to get his text book first. She didn't understand why they were so afraid of him. But he didn't glare at her like he glared at them. They all read and wrote their summaries then they bell for the next class rings. it still amazes them how Lucy is still alive right now.

~At lunch~

Lucy sits down in the courtyard today. Why? The students told her that she wasn't allowed to go up to the rooftop because Natsu and his friends were eating up there today. " I wonder where that blonde girl is today " Erza said. Levy looked over the railing to see Lucy talking to laki. " She's eating down there today I guess... " She said. " That's weird, she's always up here isn't she? " Gray asked. " How should I know I don't eat lunch up here all the time " Mira shrugged. They all just continue to eat lunch.

~With Lucy~

Lucy felt her neck. " OMG I forgot it! " She exclaimed. " Forgot what? " Laki asked. " I left something up on the roof yesterday! " She said getting up to go to there. " I don't think it's a good idea to go up there right now Lucy " Laki warned. " Why not? " Lucy asked. " Natsu and his friends are eating up there today " She said. " I'll be fine, I don't know why everyone is so scared of him that they won't even move when he's near them " Lucy said. She goes up to the rooftop.

~Up on the rooftop~

" Looks like she's coming up here right now " Levy said. " For what? " Erza asked. Levy shrugged. " We'll just figure out when she gets here " Levy said. Lucy opens the door. She sees that they are all there and smiles at them. She goes to where she usually sits, which is where gray is right now. " Um excuse me, can you check to see if there is a necklace right there? " She asked. Gray looked at he found a necklace there, there was a locket on it with the sign for Aquarius. " Uh, here " He said. " Thanks " Lucy smiled. She walked downstairs to the courtyard. " She didn't even flinch " Gray said in disbelief. " I wonder why she isn't scared like the rest of them " Erza said.

~With Lucy~

Lucy put the pendant on her neck and goes to Laki. " OMG Lucy are you okay?! " She asked. " Yeah why wouldn't I be? " She asked. " I feel like your just being stupid now Lucy " Laki rolled her eyes. " Why? what's wrong? " Lucy asked. " Uh, hello!!! You just walked up to where Natsu was! " She almost shouted. " It's fine Laki, I don't even think he looked at me " Lucy said.

~After school~

Natsu has on his usual 24/7 Glare. His friends walk with him. He won't even smile, not even just a little one.

We really need someone to calm his angry ass down sometimes. It's like he doesn't have any other emotions. I think that blonde girl can help us. She seems like a nice person. What was her name again. Lunny, Luigi... Lucy!! It was Lucy. " Hey guys I have an idea " I said. " What is it? " Levy asked. " I think that blonde girl Lucy can help him smile once in a while " I said. They all nodded in agreement. " Okay well how are we supposed to get her to do that? " Erza asked. " Well... A hug always makes me feel better, how about we ask her to do that? " Levy asked. We all agreed. Thank god he didn't hear us. So we should get the girl to give him a hug tomorrow and maybe, if I'm right, he will cheer up for once and stop glaring at everyone.

~The next day~

Me and the others went to look for Lucy. I found her she was sitting in the courtyard looking at a necklace. There was a picture inside the locket. She smiled at it. " Oi Blondie! Come here! " Gray-sama said. I elbowed him. " Her name is Lucy you Idiot " I scolded. She looked at us confused but went to us anyways. " Yes? " She asked. How can one person be so nice? I thought. " We need your help " Erza said. " Okay... What do you need help with? " She asked. " This may sound like a weird question... " Levy said. Lucy nodded. " Can I get a hug? " Gray asked. " Shut up you idiot " Erza said. " But seriously, give me a hug " She added. " O...kay..." Lucy said. She gave Erza a hug. Then she let go. " Is... That all? " She asked. " That was amazing hug! You'll be perfect " Erza said. " Uh, perfect for what? " She asked. I grab her hand and pull her along with us. I have a feeling that she will be the one to finally make Natsu smile after such a long time. All the other students are too scared of him to do it. I don't even think they can look him in the eye at all. I opened the door to where Natsu was. " We solved all your problems Natsu!!! " I said excitedly. " I didn't even know I had a problem " He said confused. " Your problem is that you never smile, so we fixed that! " Erza said. " I do smile " He pouted. " No you don't " Levy rolled her eyes. " But anyways... " I said. We left Lucy and Natsu in the room.

***********My POV***********

After they just left the poor girl in there with the hot header pink Mafia boy. She just sat down on the couch. Yes, they have a couch. " So why did my friends bring you here? " He asked. No malice in his voice whatsoever. " I don't know, Erza asked me for a hug, and then Juvia pulled me here " Lucy shrugged. " Maybe they want me to give you a hug " Lucy said. " Why? " Natsu asked. " I don't know that's what it seemed like. Erza said that I would be perfect for 'this' after I gave her that hug " Lucy said. Juvia opens the door. " The hell is taking so long? " Erza asked from outside. " She hasn't done it yet " Juvia answers. " Done what? " Lucy and Natsu ask at the same time. " Lucy give Natsu a hug " Juvia said. " Why? " Natsu asked. " Stop complaining and get your angry ass over here " She ordered. Natsu groans and walks over to her. " Now bye " Juvia said walking out. Lucy gets up. This is kinda awkward. She gave him a hug. Natsu never really gets any hugs. This was warm and kind. He literally fell asleep. Lucy just sits on the couch with Natsu laying down on her lap. The room was still silent. They walked in once again to see Natsu sleeping. " I think it worked " Lucy said. " You damn right it did! " Juvia said with a smile. Gray grabbed Natsu and flung him over his shoulder. " He's heavy, how can you support his head with just your legs? " He asked. Lucy shrugged and gets up. She was about to walk out when....
