Chapter Two

***********My POV***********

Lucy was about to leave when Natsu grabbed her hand and held it tight. He was still sleeping. She was speechless. This seems so familiar to her. She softly smiled and held his hand back. " I guess your coming with us " Erza shrugged. They walked out the room. With a jealous whittete watching them. She can't stand anyone to be with Natsu but her.

~In the car~

" Wow, he's still holding your hand " Gray said. " You guys must be a couple then " He added with a smirk. Blood rose to Lucy's face. " Eh? U-uh no... I uh just... " She was so flustered right now. No one really ever asked her out on dates. When they arrived at his house. " Natsu wake up " Lucy said softly. " No dont-- " Gray was saying but it was too late. Natsu is not a morning person. And just like me, if he wakes up its morning, even if it's the middle of the day. Then he eyed everyone in the car. He saw Lucy and his gaze softened immediately. " Jeez it's like he has an automatic setting when he looks at you " Gray muttered. They all get out the car and go inside Natsu's house. When they walked inside Grandeeney dropped her glass. Igneel ran down stairs to see what all the commotion was about. His jaw dropped open. Natsu doesn't even really like to hold his little sisters hand. And here is this random girl that they haven't even seen before, is here holding his hand. And he's holding it back too! " Here let me help you with that " Lucy said running to the broken glass that was on the floor. Grandeeney was still on shock, and didn't even realize that she dropped the glass. She snapped out of it. " Oh thank you, you are so sweet " She said bending down to get the glass with Lucy. " It's not a problem " Lucy smiled. " Wow, she really has a great Aura around her. great enough to calm the storm that is Natsu " Levy said. They all agreed by nodding. They finished picking up the glass. Natsu goes upstairs to work on something. " I'm curious... " Grandeeney said. " How did you meet Natsu? " She asked. " What do you mean? Everyone knows him. And they're scared of him too " She said. " So, your not scared? " Grandeeney asked. " No.. " Lucy said. " Okay, and how did you get him to hold your hand? " She asked. " Actually he grabbed my hand " She said. " Oh. My. God. You are an angel sent from heaven! " She said. " Uh... Thank you " Lucy said. " You should get home now though, your parents will be worried won't they? " She asked. " R-right... " Lucy said. They drive Lucy home and Lucy walked inside her house. She was about to leave anyways.

~At cemetery~

Lucy stands in front of the tombstone that read 'Layla Heartfilia'. Lucy kneels down and rubs off the tiny bit of dust that lingered over the letters that were engraved into the pretty stone. " Hey mom. I'm here to visit you. I'm sorry I was late. I was at my new friends house. Well, I don't know if he'd call me a friend. But he's Natsu Dragneel the boy I've been telling you about. Everyone is scared of him, but he's really nice to me. And he fell asleep in my arms when I gave him a hug. And even held my hand when I was leaving him. I saw his father, and met his mother. Her name is Grandeeney. " She ranted to the stone down in front of her. " I wish you were here to see. So I can't tell you in real life " She said as her smile faded. A tear slipped down her face. " I love you so much mom. And I miss you " She said.

~The next day~

Today is a Saturday. She takes a shower and gets dressed in a white crop top hoodie with a pineapple on it, light blue high waisted jeans, black high top vans, and glasses with no prescription. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail that reached her waist and her bangs cover her forehead with some strands hanging down and resting on her shoulders. She goes down stairs and sees her maids. She smiled and ate the breakfast they made for her and then brushed her teeth. Capricorn drives the limo down to the hospital. " Okay I'll see you later Capricorn " She said. " Goodbye lady Lucy " He said and bows then goes back into the limo and drives back home. Lucy goes into the building and signs in. " You know you don't need to come here anymore right? Your volunteer hours have been completed a long time ago... " The receptionist said. " I know, I just like to come here and help people " She said with a smile. Lucy goes to the room she always goes to and knocks on it. The little girl inside smiled. " Come in " She said. " Hey Wendy " Lucy said. Wendy hugs her. " Lucy guess what? Guess what? " She said excitedly. " What? " Lucy asked. " I will be discharged from the hospital in three weeks!! " She said hugging the blonde. Lucy smiled. " That's great! " She said. Wendy giggled. " So, what would you like me to read with you today? " She asked. " Harry Potter and Percy Jackson!! " She said. " Okay, we can start in Percy Jackson " Lucy said.

~A few hours later~

They finished the Percy Jackson books and almost all the Harry Potter books. There was a nurse that came in. It's getting pretty late. " Lucy, you have an hour left " She said. " Okay, we are almost finished. We just need to finish the last chapter " Lucy said with her eyes glued to the book. The nurse smiled and closed the door. Once Lucy finished Wendy is fast asleep. Lucy smiled and pulled the covers over her. " Sweet dreams " She said softly and then she leaves. " See you later " She said.

~After Lucy Left~

As the limo pulled off, someone's car pulled up. It was Natsu. He opens the door. " Good evening sir " The receptionist said. Natsu signed in and saw that someone else came to see Wendy. He didn't say anything at the time. But the name was the same as the girl he loves. He just ignores it.
