Carter, John, and Bright stops near a river. "That was close" Carter said, stretching a bit. Bright takes care of John's wound, as Carter figures out where to go. Everyone stopped when they heard more footsteps. Carter and Bright aims their rifles and repeaters. "Hey, Scruffy isn't a threat unless he wants to be!" Scruffy shouted, appearing out of the forest. "So almost all the time?" John said in a smart ass tone. "Damn right, now come on, we think we found Valentine". Carter walks with Scruffy, adls Bright helps John up, following behind them. John looks at Bright while they follow them, "Hella a Journey, am I right?". Bright sighs, "Just shut up, you shouldn't be talking while with that wound". John rolls his eyes as they exit the forest.
