Ch.1 - "i love you"

FLASHBACK
"Bye , babygirl see you tonight." Grayson says.
" Bye , I love you." I say flashing a fake smile.
" I love you too." He says and winks and walks out the door.

When he left I planned my escape. So when he came home, he couldn't beat me anymore.

I packed up my bags for the night and drove to Emma's house. When I got there i knocked and she opened the door and i dropped in her arms.

E: What's wrong babe?
Me: G-G..G- Grayson.
I sobbed.
E: What about him?
She asked concerned and pulled me inside and shut the door and we sat on the couch.

Me: D-Dont be mad at me.
E: Never.
I sighed and then took a deep breath.
Me: So you know Grayson , he goes out to parties almost every night and he gets s- super drunk a- and comes home around 2am and beats me for no reason. I've always b-been s-so good to him.

I sobbed. Her eyes went super wide.
E: Why didnt you tell me?!
She asks a little frustrated.
Me: i-im sorry I didnt tell you...

also the next day after he would beat me, he would not know what happened bc I'd cover my bruises and scars with makeup... and never tell him.

E: I'm gonna KILL HIM.
Me: T-thats why I came. He went out to another party and I feel so weak and , can i just stay the night here tonight?

E: Of course baby.
She says and hugs me.
Me: I love you Emma , your the best.
I smile and then go upstairs and we

watch movies and have a girl night and it is around 1am and Emma is asleep and I was trying to go to sleep but nothing was working.

About a hour later I fell asleep. But then I got woken up by a sudden. * DING* I rolled over and saw a text from Grayson.
TEXTS:
G: WHERE ARE YOU?!!!!
I didnt respond.
G: I SAID WHERE ARE YOU , YOU BETTER TELL ME RIGHT NOW OR I WILL BEAT THE SH*T OUT OF YOU , YOU SLUT!
I felt a tear roll down my cheek.
G: Oh Haha, I have your location , your at Emma's see you in a bit. And your not responding. Twice the beating.
I immediately went to my location on settings and turned it off and then woke Emma up.
E: hmm?
Me: Grayson knows where I am , we have to leave.
E: What?
She asks and shoots up in bed.
Me: Graysons coming. I forgot I left my location on , I'm so , so sorry Emma.
I said thru tears.
E: Its okay , lets go to Ethans. Did you turn your location off?
Me: Yes.
E: Okay good , grab your stuff , let's go.
She says half asleep and we got in my car and started to drive but then my car wouldn't start.
