The moon shone down on Four Trees. Spiritstar sat down on the rock. His eyes glittered as Poolstar, a blue-gray she with green eyes, appeared in the clearing. "Hello, Poolstar." Spiritstar mewed confidently. Poolstar dipped her head and growled, "I found Minnowpaw's mother, Dripwish, with a tomcat from ShiftClan." Spiritstar sat and itched his ear, meowing sarcastically, "Like I don't know that." Then, Spiritstar laid down, pushing his muzzle against his paws and slowly falling to sleep.
Spiritstar woke up in a starlit, grassy clearing. He looked around, then noticed a few stars forming a cat's body shape. Then, the cat appeared to walk towards him, and he could slowly make out it's fur color. "Hollowbird?" The young tomcat meowed in uncertainty. "Yep, that's me!" The starry cat purred. "It's so great to see you! Why have you called me here?" Hollowbird touched her nose with Spiritstar's. Suddenly, Hollowbird spoke aloud, "The silvery fish will end the storm of blood." Hollowbird meowed. Spiritstar watched as Hollowbird's figure began to fade. "No! What does that mean?" Spiritstar yowled, and tried to grasp her body, but to no use.
