Credit goes to purple_kitty4 for making this lovely scenario!!
Scenario One: There is always the pyramid in life. Whether it be the Food Pyramid or Social Status Pyramids. For the Social Status one, snakes have always ruled as superior, being the 'top dog' while cats tend to be at the lowest level, always seen as dirty thief's. Snakes have always been seen as a sign of good luck and wealth in most cultures, though it varies from place to place. Most snakes have a high up position in society, whether it be Royalty, Nobles or Knights. They are usually rich, praised by the people and looked up to. Cats, however, tell a different story. Well, the two aren't exactly snakes and cats. They are actually Nagas, and Nekos.
(OC) is a Neko, part cat and part (species). It is often said (depending on where you go) that cats are bringers of bad luck and should not be dealt with. Nekos like (OC) are looked down upon, casted out from society and left to fend for themselves on the streets. They have to resort to stealing in order to maintain a living, due to the fact that no one will hire them and they have no source of income. (OC) doesn't like to steal, but unfortunately they are forced to do so. They steal as little as possible to avoid being caught, but it seems inevitable that one day they will be. It just so happens to be that (COC) was wandering around the marketplace, looking around when they spotted a cloaked figure - (OC) - snatch an apple off some Vendor's cart while they weren't looking. (OC) is unaware they have been spotted before (COC) grabbed their wrist from behind, asking why (OC) had stolen it. (OC) froze, afraid for their life as they turned halfway to look at (COC), who was towering over them. What do you do?
Scenario Two: Same but flipped! (OC) is the Naga and (COC) is the Neko!!
