In a forest far away

A tree you will see

So tall it is

And you take a picture of it with me

Your friends and I go back to visit it

We get surprised of what we saw

The illegal loggers cut it

And they have disobeyed the law

Melanie, your friend

Cried and cried

And your friend Liana

To tame her, she tried and tried

You told someone about it and he was so shocked

You reported it to the Mayor of the city

He didn't listen to it

And Melanie wasn't happy

The tree was so big

The loggers were so ruthless

The chopped tree was so thick

And it was so helpless

But what went to your mind

What type of tree it was

But you were distracted by Liana

Who told you to ride the bus

After many years, you found out that the tree

Was a Lauan tree

And then you told me your story

And I am happy

The message of my poem is to broadcast to the illegal loggers to not cut the poor trees. This is a poem that should be remembered by all. Please share.
