(Interview)

Briar

"Briar, you and your boyfriend, Myles Erlick have been together for quite a long time now, right? Four years." Stacy Morgan asks me right off the bat. I can tell I'm blushing because she started smirking at me. "Uhm yea. We have a long friendship, but we've only been together for 4 years. " I answer shortly

"So, can you explain, like how it feels now that he's in New York filming and you're about to go back on tour for the 'The Next Step Absolute Dance Tour'? Because if you don't see him often, like how do you get to do your coupley activities? And NOT meaning sex." I have half the mind to roll my eyes. I always get asked how I deal with long distance and how it feels to be so far away as if people expect me to cry. It's almost annoying.

"That's the problem with people, no offense. You see, Relationships aren't all about doing this and that. It's about experiencing things together with the one you love and having a significant connection or bond with your partner. Its means being able to go from best friends one moment, to being lovers the next. And then you wonder how you ever lived without this person, and how you survived without talking to them. You look forward to every moment with them and they make you happy. It's just...love." 

"And I guess that's why it's so easy for us to be so far away, because we know at the end of the day, he'll always come back to me, and I'll always come back to him because that's my home. He's my home," As I take a breather, Stacy is wiping her tears and the audience is 'awing. I smile with a little laugh. I feel a tear fall down my face, so I use my napkin to wipe it away. "And yea, I miss him. But that's natural. I always miss Myles, he's my everything. But we're always okay because we're Bryles, we can handle everything." I finalize.

"That's beautiful. But as you know, I'm a huge Bryles fan so I had to get you on the show. But I managed to pull a few strings and we got you a few surprises." I smile a little. "I hate surprises..." I whine, like a child, with a small laugh. "Well, you're going to love this one." Stacy guarantees me.

"So, close your eyes, and when I count to three, you're going to open them. The audience has to stay quiet though okay you guys?" She instructs. I do as she says and place my hand over my eyes. "1...," The audience starts gasping quietly and some are squealing so I contort my face in confusion. "2...," Stacy turns my body around but I keep my eyes sealed. Now I'm excited since the audience loves the surprise obviously. I keep fidgeting in place. "3!" I move my hands from my eyes and have to adjust to the brightness.

 Once I do, I've come face to face with possibly the best surprise ever. My baby is here! Both of them. And the love of my life. Cali, Lucy, and Mylo are here in Australia. I break down in tears. I need to sit down before I pass out. I take a seat and place Lucy in my lap. "So, Briar, how are you feeling?" Stacy asks me and honestly, i have no words because I wasn't prepared for this. "I-I Honestly have no words right now. Like, you could have dropped a few hints so i could prepare my heart for this." I say with a laugh. The audience laughs as well. "Okay I've been a little distracted, so I have to just get it off my chest, where'd you get that outfit? It's really cute."

"Why thank you. I actually downloaded this app called Combyne. You can take clothing an put together an outfit. All these clothes are real by the way. Then you can even click on the clothing items for more information, it'll take you straight to the website of the company that made the clothing, and you can order it online and once you have the full outfit, own it." (All true btw. I have some of the outfits I've made on Combyne.) I tell her with almost too much excitement. "Bri loves the app she won't stop gushing over it." Myles says after playing with Cali.

"I will definitely be checking out that app." Stacy says. I laugh and so does Myles. "I hope you don't mind me turning this into a Bryles interview?"
She asks timidly. I look to Myles who appears to be in his own little world with Lucy.

"I'm not sure if he's even listening." Myles lifts from his daze and okay's the previous question.
"Great! So, Myles you've recently finished filming with Steven Spielberg on a classic film, ' West Side Story' " The audience starts clapping and cheering for him and he just does that beautiful smile I love so much. "Congrats. What's it like working with the legend himself?" "Yeah, thank you. You know uh, it's amazing. Since I was able to watch movies and actually understand them, I've loved West Side Story and I've also always admired Steven Spielberg so actually getting to do both, work on WSS and work alongside Steven was just a dream come true." The audience is again clapping. When the audience dies down Stacy preps for another question.

"So right now, Briar you are touring with The Next Step season six, in Australia and then before filming back in the summertime, you were on a tour with Jennifer Lopez. How was that?" "Obviously it was a dream you know. I never would have imagined being on a tour with JLo like The Jennifer Lopez, like that's insane. She was like so super sweet, and I really had so much fun, and you would think like with all the nerves and cities we were going to, like any normal person I was extremely nervous because this was the first time that I was going on a tour that wasn't about tns y'know?"

I take a breather and continue, "So yeah, I was freaked out but ultimately when the lights like dimmed and they announced my name, I was like 'okay Bri you got this. This is your moment.' and I'd like to say that I killed it. And from there every single tour after that, no more nerves cause the crowd loved my solo and I loved my solo and Jen loved my solo and I was just so happy." "That's great."

(Ok I've been kind of dragging this on, so I'll do part two. Also, thanks to the ppl who have been putting my book in their libraries. One of the ppl who did today was @ChelseaH509 so thank you it means a lot.)
