When Iroh has suspicions that his daughter, Eizoku might also be in harms way after the death of his son and her brother, Lu Ten, he fakes her death and sends her away to live with a member of the white lotus.
Her mother, Kei Rin although nobody, including herself knew it, was a decendant of the captured southern water tribe benders. Water bending, the gene that skipped her mother, ended up in the possession of Eizoku.
She lived in the northern water tribe and trained like any other female would. Healing only. But under the covers of darkness, with the moon bright over her head and the tides close to her feat, she trained with the spirits in the oasis. Her world turns upside down when team avatar enter her home land and she chooses to travel with them.
She doesn't blame the earth kingdom. The war took everything from her. If the firenationhad stayed out of it, her life would be normal.
She blames them. And she wants revenge.
