First sight Chapter 1

It was a warm but cold day in NYC, Hazel Grace had just turned 16. Big number, no ? Hazel started to plan her sweet 16 when she was only 10, she was hosting her dream ALL girls trip. No annoying boys could ruin her big day, it was perfect. You see Hazel grace had spend the last 4 years of her boring life obsessing over guys, she would never even have a chance of talking to them never mind loving them. The beautiful teen was so anxious for her guests to arrive to her amazing sweet 16. It was 11:47am the trip didn't start until 3:30pm! She went up to put her makeup on in the mirror and in the corner of her left eye, she saw a moving van. Someone had finally moved into the house next to hazels. She was so excited to get new neighbors ! She jumped with joy when suddenly she heard
"Hazel honey come down I want you to meet our new neighbors,they have a son about your age darling ! "
"Kinda in the middle of doing something mother, will be down in a minute"
Hazel wasn't in the middle of doing something, she needed to quickly put on some cute clothes and makeup as there was "a new guy"
She was just starting to glam herself up,when she realized, that she was so stupid to think the new neighbor would even like her. She has not had much success in relationships before so why would it start now! So she just went down stairs with a huge frown.
"Honey get down here now "
"Ok ok calm down I'm nearly there" hazel screamed
Hazel showed her face to the new neighbors and looked at the gorgeous guy.
It was love at first sight the two teens glared into each others eyes as if no one else was around them.
"Ok love birds back to earth" hazel's mother said laughing her head off !"
"Mom don't embarrass me! I told you about this before"
"Darling meet Augustus, Augustus this is Hazel"
"Hey hazel, can I talk to you alone
"Yeah sure, Is something wrong ?"
"No just that I can't keep my eyes of you, your so beautiful"
"Stop lying, and flirting !" Said hazel as she knew there was NO way a guy as hot as him could be single and she didn't want to be one of those girls who was with a cheater !
"Hazel come on, you have a hair appointment " said Vicky hazel's mom
"Sure mom 1 sec,can I call you Gus instead of Augustus?" said Hazel flattered
"Only if I can call you your full name, which is ?" Asked Gus
"Hazel Grace Lancaster"
"Well it was very nice meeting you beautiful Hazel Grace"
"You too bye "
Gus left and Hazel went for her hair appointment.
She got back and only had 1 hour to do her makeup. Hazel was so stressed and couldn't keep her mind off Gus. She just had to think about something else so she got ready. It was now 3:30pm and her first guest had arrived. By 3:45 all her guests were at Hazels house. They were ready to leave. Hazels friends were all so excited to go to Miami. It was so hot there and nothing could go wrong. Hazel was all packed and so were all her friends. They got into the cars and went to the airport. It was about half an hour before check in and hazel realized she had forgotten her ipad. So she begged her mom to drive back and get it so she did. About 15 mins before boarding the plane hazel saw her mom.
"Thanks for that mom, your a life saver, but mom where the hell are your bags and daddy? "
"Ok, hazel don't freak out promise?
"Mom what's going on?" Hazel said in a mad voice
"Your dad decided to stay home as he has to do a work thing over the weekend and my bags are with GUS"....
