They woke up that morning, it was awkward plain simple awkward. you know the way when you have just kissed your best friend , that !!!! Everything was awkward. when they coughed at the same time, when they bumped each other with clumsiness and most of all when hazels mother met them for breakfast. Hazel knew that she should tell her mom. any mom would want to know who her daughter is dating but the way she handled hazel first crush. You wouldn't believe it. She went and told him that hazel was in love with him, that she wrote his name all over her notebook but worst of all that she printed a t-shirt that said I heart hazel and give it to him. I mean who does that. there was no way she was going to tell her mom that she kissed Gus. first she would get a "your welcome" as she's the one who brought him on the trip.Then tell Gus embarrassing things about how hazel sleeps with her tongue stuck out and then worst of all the t-shirts!!!
So she didn't, Hazel kept it a secret that she had just had the best and first kiss of her life.
"Hi haze, how was your night? You missed dinner" said Vicky
"Oh sorry she was-" Gus stopped as hazel kicked him.
"Gus can I speak to you privately please?"
"Sure babe" said Gus leaning for a kiss.
The two love birds, walked behind the big trees.
"What's up baby ?"
"Ok... first don't ever call me babe in front of my mom again and second don't tell my mum about... well you know us."
"Why not Hun" said Gus devestated
"Let's just say my mom, can go a but over the top about something's" hazel said awkwardly
"But she is going to find out sooner or later"
"Not if you don't say anything"
"Ok... fine we won't tell her about...us. but I'm allowed do whatever I want when she is not around ! Said Gus leaning for another kiss.
"Yes if you want! So if she asks last night you fell into the pool and cut your arm so you didn't wanna go out so I stayed with you...Ok?"
"Fine... let's go I'm hungry babe"
So they both went back to the restaurant.
"Honey are you finished discussing ?" Said hazels mom
"Yes mother"
"So where were you last night?"
" Oh miss grace I cut my leg at the pool last night and hazel stayed home with me." he said winking at hazel
"Oh please call me Vicky and you poor thing let me have a look"
"Ummmm no you would probably faint to much blood"
"No darling I insist"
"No its fine we need to go back now byeee"said hazel pulling Gus
"Wow that was close !"
They both went back to their villa, they were so secret about everything for the rest of the holiday but they both had a great time together. Hazel and her friends had so much fun ! The last night they were there Hazels friends through her a suprise birthday/thank you party they had so much fun except hazel got a little drunk, she was a bit tipsy and she started making out with Gus in front of her mom !!!!
she woke up the next morning with a very bad headache she still had last nights dress on. She opened her eyes to see Gus naked in the bed beside her. Did they do it !?
