At first when I saw him move in I thought nothing of it, i just kept thinking he will come and go like the other junkies next door except from a few that I enjoyed company with. Now and then I would see his scruffy beard and untamed hair with all the different hair strands dancing about, but now every time I see him he is always staring deeply into me even though he has a lover. Wondering if I have something on my face or I'm wearing something provocative or something unflattering to my body shape , but I think it's much deeper than that.
When we catch glances he gives me a warm smile with a cheeky smirk and gives me a greeting . Sometimes I feel like he wants to say something other than hello or how are you. I have all my windows and curtains open so I can let the wind twirl around the room to get all the unclean sins out of the room , usually I walk around in hardly anything because I'm so comfortable and cozy in it , he has caught me red-handed in my natural state several times, he just smirks at me for a quick second and then another time giving me the same repetitive look , it goes through me like a ghost has jumped through my soul and played with my heart.
He invited me to a barbecue late at night with the moon shining bright , giving me all the ingredients for a hangover , he leans over at me with puppy dog eyes and I sigh in disbelief of him openly looking at me in front of his lover. He leans in closer and asks me about my life whilst my head is dancing about and my heart beating away at how he looks at me feeling like it's just us two. But his friend is looking deeply into my soul too . Smelling the strong aroma of a concoction of lung cancer is his signature smell , which endorses me in into his love spell.
