Nicki's POV
I was asleep when Rihmeek woke me up by pulling on my hair.
"Time to get up Onika. Go make something for me to fucking eat I'm hungry!!" He shouted at me.
I stood there staring at him then walked off as I sucked my teeth and rolled my eyes. He pulled me by the hair and slammed me on the wall.
"What's your fucking problem?" He asked choking me with his eyes filled with rage.
"N-Nothing b." I replied then he dropped me to the floor.
"Count your blessings bitch!!" He yelled walking away leaving me on the ground trying to catch my breath.
I held in my tears and walked quietly to the kitchen. I decided on making harsh browns with egg and sausage for him.
After doing so, I walked to him with his breakfast then returned to the kitchen for mine. I sat next to him waiting for him to take a bite but he didn't. I am not Allowed to eat before him.
I became extremely impatient and my mouth started watering profusely. I took a bite and closed my eyes because it tasted so fucking good!!! Before I knew it, He threw the fucking cold cup of juice on me!!!
"What the fu-" He cut me off with a punch to my face bursting my lip.
"Are you fucking stupid!!? Your ugly ass just won't learn!! You can't even cook but I still eat your raw eggs to make you feel appreciated...Go clean your fucking self up before I hit you somewhere else!!" He shouted in my face.
I hurried to the bathroom, afraid that he'll hit me again. I watched myself in the mirror of the bathroom as tears streamed down my face.
"Onika you need to be strong, he loves you alot, he just doesn't know how to show it. Without him you are nothing." I cried.
After cleaning up, I walked back downstairs to wash the dishes.
"Hey baby, I love you and I'm sorry about what happened just now. You know I'm stressed but I'll make it up to you okay." He said kissing me.
" I'm sorry for eating without your permission it was my fault." I said as i hugged him.
"Good girl, I'm glad you know that it was your fault. I'm leaving for work. Don't answer the door to anyone okay and make sure lunch is ready when I come back home." He kissed me on my forehead before leaving.
Some moments later, I heard a knock on the door. I laid in bed pretending I didn't hear anything. Just then, I received a text message from My best friend, Beyonce.

I walked downstairs and let her in.
"Hey nicki, I missed you." She said hugging me.
"I missed you too." I replied.
"Hold up, why is your lip swollen?" She asked concerned.
"Oh, I hit my lips by mistake." I laughed nervously.
Just then the door flew open and Meek walked in. My heart started racing in my chest so fast, I was scared of what was going to happen next. I couldn't breathe, I started sweating.
"Babe, I forgot my K- Oh Hi bey wassup?" He said smiling at her then looking at me.
"I'm good just came to check up on my bestfriend." She smiled.
"Oh okay." He grinned.
"Oh well, I was leaving anyway I left my kids with Jay." she said leaving.
He watched her drive off then closed the door, He walked towards me slowly, With every step he took forward, I took a step back.
"Well i guess my hands don't work properly, So I'm switching the game up." He quickly took his leather belt and started beating me.
"Aaaahhhhh. I'm sorry, pleasee stop!!! Babyy stop!!!" I screamed as the belt connected to my skin.
I started running up the stairs but he grabbed me by my hair and pulled me back down and continued beating me. I tried kicking him hoping that he'd stop but I quickly regretted it.
"Oh, so you wanna fight back now?" He placed the belt on the couch and started punching me in the face
"AHHHHHHH! STOP PLEASE BABY. I'M SORRY!!" I screamed as i held my bloody nose.
I looked at him one last time before falling into darkness.
