"So your telling us that our own parents agreed on leaving us in the middle of the woods in a cabin with a partner so we can experience living out in the world by ourselves and our partner for a month!!" I yelled
The teacher turned to me
"Yes and please raise your hands and don't yell" she said
"And your telling us will have partners??" My friend said
"Yes" the teacher said again
"Your really sending me to the woods!! You guys are my parents!! And I'm only 12!!Your expecting me to go get stranded in the middle of the woods with a random person from my grade!!! Your really calling yourselves my parents!!" I wined as I stabbed some grilled chicken and putting it on my plate before reaching to get some gravy
"Yes Ashley, And it would be a good experience for you and your partner to experience living by yourselves and taking care of yourselves without your dear parents" my dad said as he poured himself some lemonade
"But what if my partner is a boy or someone I don't like" I said before taking a bite
"Ashley you'll learn a lot from being gone and we already payed for this" my mom said as she fed my brother
"Where's Ashley going mama?" My sister little sister said as she takes a sip of we lemonade
"She's going on a field trip " my mom said making airplane noises out of a sudden so she can feed my baby brother
"Can I Come mommy" she said putting down her drink
"It's for big girls only" my mom said as she wipes my brothers mouth
A month away??
Should I be happy or should I be sad
I mean away from my sister something I've been wishing for but away from my parents??
Ahhhh I can't choose
"But Ashley you know what I say you don't like changes but I think you should try this and we're sorry for just suddenly signing you up and not asking you if you wanted to go" my dad said putting down his fork
"It's just so sudden you could have told me before" I said also putting down my fork and reaching for some more
"Well we thought you'd like to get away from us for a while" my dad shrugged
"I'm just saying..." I said trying to speak but not letting my anger out
"Uhhgggg I can't explain" I stood up and stomped to my room
" if you act like that we will leave you there for ever" I hear my mom scoff
"Start packing I'm not letting you out of your room if I dong see more than 4 bags packed" I hear my mom
I closed the door and started packing
It's in the woods
I need sweatshirts,hoodies check, legging check, bra check, all my underwear check both of my shoes check , hair brush,etc
I sat on my bed and reached for my phone
Me- hey you guys packing
Ellen- Yes 😒
Anna- uhh yes I had to
Me- ye me too

Me- I hope our "secret " partner is one of us and not a boy
