"Mr. Kleist... I'll do it."

That's what I had said hours before, but I was still having cold feet over this. I thought I had let go of finding Zerksis. The thought of reuniting with my test subject was preposterous, I left and gave up that possibility. I was just getting my life in order too.

But still, my body was moving on it's own. I was told to pack immediately as I was to leave soon. I called a pet sitting service to board Zer, I had a feeling I was going to be gone for a while. A car was set to pick me up, to take me to a helicopter that would take me to the nearest space station and board off into space. Just like before. Normally this process would take a few days to complete, but since Zerksis was a high priority containment target, this had to happen immediately.

Taking a deep breath, I zipped up my luggage before hearing my doorbell ring. This was it.

"Coming!" I called out, leaving my room and shutting off each light as I reached the front door. I opened it to see two men at Mr. Kleist's side.

"Ms. Sorenson, I'm so glad you agreed. We have to start immediately, shall we go?" He asked me, as he held out his hand for me. "We shall, I'm quite anxious of this reunion..." I said quietly as I grabbed his hand and he guided me to the black car. Stepping in and making myself comfortable on the beige leather seats right next to Mr. Kleist.

I leaned my head against the window of the car, staring directly outside into the near darkness of the night. This was going to be a long ride.

-------

"Ms. Sorenson? Ms. Soreson? It's time to wake up."

I heard a males voice in my head before opening my eyes to the feeling of someone nudging me. Looking to my side, it was just Mr. Kleist. "Ah... Mr. Kleist, I didn't even realize I fell asleep. My apologies..." I sat up, and ran a hand through my hair. "It's not a problem Ms. Sorenson, it was a long ride. But we're at the helicopter, you can rest some more in there if you'd like." He smiled.

Nodding, I stepped out of the car as one of his men grabbed my luggage. Mr. Kleist was professional, but he was also nice at the same time. Perhaps he was sympathetic, perhaps he was just trying to get me on his side more than I already am. I was still unsure of this, but there was one thing I was sure of.

Zerksis. I wanted to reunite with him, and study him further.

But let's just hope that we arrive in space safely...

----

The Helicopter ride was smooth, enough for me to sleep. All this traveling was taking a toll on my body, making me tired than I usually am.

But for the rocket launch, it wasn't as smooth. I would never get used to this feeling of being ejected into space. It was like a never ending roller coaster constantly going up and pushing against your body. It was easier in smaller ships like the one I was in, but still. It wasn't very fun. Once we left the atmosphere and were on a steady route to the space station, I left my seat to stretch my legs. Mr. Kleist had gone on a separate ship to his headquarter station, and would speak to me once we got to the space station where... Everything happened.

"Ms. Sorenson," A pilot called out to me.

"What is it?"

"We've almost arrived. It's time to suit up." He said, making me step forward to peer out the window. He was right, we were almost there. The station was in view. "Understood..." I mumbled before walking to wear to soldiers were holding out a jumpsuit. I wore minimal clothing, so it was a bit embarrassing to put on this skin tight body suit. Putting my feet in, the two men zipped me up from the back and helped me put on a backpack and gas mask.
