It is no doubt that there are many music service platforms and one of them is the music streaming giant iTunes. But think about the time when the user will not have a stable internet connection, this is when the users get to start thinking about how to stream music. Sure one might they can simply add tracks to their iDevice by integrating it to a PC or a MAC through iTunes but thinking about it, it is far from convenient. But today that is exactly what we are going to explore and discover how to transfer music from a computer to an iPhone without actually using iTunes.

Add music to your device through the iCloud drive and through the Google Play Music Manager.

iCloud Drive is an extremely handy service in a situation like this. If the user has their music collection stored in their Mac or PC or an external hard drive as well and prefers to manually manage their songs they can use the iCloud Drive to add tracks to their iDevices. But it is essential to clarify that the iCloud does not consent the uploading of content for which the user has the express permission to copy neither share. Saving music actually does not give one rights to upload it as desired and even for personal enjoyment, this could mean the user's account getting banned. Therefore users must stay alert.

How to transfer tracks using iCloud drive

In the user's Mac open Finder and navigate to the iCloud drive. In there chose File > New Folder or press shift+command+N and this will create a new untitled folder which the user has to name as "Music" so it is easy for recognition later on. Open the folder and locate the songs that the user want to reach on the user's iDevice and drag the required tracks to the Music Folder.

After this, the cloud service will detect the song and will automatically start the uploading process. Users are advised if they want to make sure their prefered songs remain accessible in their original access points/ folders, they need to copy and paste them into the music folder instead of dragging and dropping.

After the tracks have been uploaded, their music will be available for access through the iCloud in the iDevice. Then proceed to access the files app and go to iCloud drive and navigate to the music folder and open it then the user will be able to see the tracks uploaded through their MACs.

How to transfer tracks using the Google Play Music Manager

This method could mean a bit time more time consuming than the previous method. But nevertheless its the better option in my personal opinion. I am sure everyone knows that Google Play Music is one of the music giants as well. And it is also a big name in the cloud services that allows the storing up to 50k songs for FREE to boot.

Simply download and install the Google Play Music Manager and sign in.

Click upload songs to Google Play and locate the music folder the user wants to upload the songs from and wait for the process to finish but the users are advised to exercise patience because if the files deemed to be too large, it will take longer to upload.

Install and open the manager from the iDevice and sign in with a google account, once the loading process has been finished, the user can start playing music and then can download music to the device for offline listening as well.

Conclusion

With these simple tricks, the users can now simply transfer music from a computer to an iPhone without iTunes.
