p e r s o n .Taehyung sunbaenim asked me to meet up with him. It's been days since that award show and we've been constantly talking to each other as well - as friends. Now, he said that he wants to treat me out.
Look, I don't know if I'm even thinking straight. Can you prevent my mind from becoming delusional? He makes my heart constantly flutter.
It's past 11PM, and here I am, outside. I told the girls that I'll just buy something to eat, they let me, of course. Rosie told me that I should bring some food home.
Taehyung Sunbaenim
VM: Hey, where are you?
VM: Shouldn't I be the one asking that?
*chuckles*VM: Yah, Jennie-ssi, where are you?
VM: Uh . . . the fountain near the convenience store?
VM: Alright, I see you.
After I played that voicemail, I started to look around, my eyes searching for him. Subconsciously, my fingers found their way to my hair and started stroking them. I just really need to look good in front of him.
"Right here," a rather hoarse voice startled me. My head immediately snapped at that direction, my eyes widening at how good he looked. "Hi there, Jennie-ssi, I--" he cleared his throat, "I'm sorry if I sound like this. Been singing too much, so yeah."
I smiled at him, "It's alright. Your voice sounds kinda sexy, anyway."
His brows lifted up, appearing a bit surprised. I, too, was surprised.
Damn. You. Kim. Jennie.
Why do I have this habit of speaking my thoughts?
"Sexy, hm?" he chuckled, shaking his head. "My, my, Jennie-ssi. You surprise me every time. Anyway, I'm glad you agreed to accompany me. I seriously can't sleep a wink, and my members are hella sleepy. What do you want to eat? My treat."
I looked around, but I don't think there's any eateries or restaurants open at this late hour. "How about we drink some coffee, instead? Or maybe eat some instant noodles at the convenience store?" I suggested.
He once again lifted his brows up, "Wow."
"Uhm . . . I'm sorry, did you have something else in mind?" I shyly asked.
He shook his head, "I'm telling you, you never fail to surprise me. I thought that the Jennie Kim would prefer something more . . . I don't know - exquisite?"
"Oh, wow . . ." I bit my bottom lip, not knowing what to say. For the next seven seconds, we were silent. I just couldn't generate a reply.
"Coffee and instant noodles? That's quite a peculiar pair up, don't you think?" he asked me.
I shrugged, "Sometimes, the pairs that are unimaginable end up being great together."
He smiled at me, nodding. "How fascinating you are, Jennie-ssi."
He started to walk towards the convenience store, and I tailed behind him. He held the door for me, and I low-key blushed. This crush of mine is just - how do I even say this? Perfect!
Taehyung sunbae suggested that I sit down while I wait for him to buy some food. I nodded, obeying him. Minutes passed by, and I couldn't help but notice that it began to rain.
