Chapter 11.

*ryan gets released from the hospital*

Morgan- "I'm gonna take you back to the station, and Nicks gonna take your statement. It's procedure."

Ryan- "I know."

Morgan- "Are you okay?"

*she nods*

*at the station*

Nick- "Just state everything that happened from the time you go to The Tangiers, until the time you left."

Ryan- "When we got to The Tangiers, Csi Brody, Csi Sanders and I talk about the case for a bit. I went to the washroom and there was a photo of the three of us on the mirror, like there was in the other murders."

Nick- "And you told Morgan and Greg what you found."

Ryan- "Yes. Morgan called Sherif Ecklie and 10 minutes later, LVPD, Swat, Sherif Ecklie, Csi Russell, Stokes, Finlay, Sidle, and Hodges arrived at the hotel. LVPD and Swat secured the building. Sherif Ecklie, Csi Russell, Sanders, Brody and I all stayed in the room until further notice. I stepped out on the balcony to get so air, and Carl Chaplin had a gun painted at me. When Morgan asked if I was okay, he pointed the gun at the door, when she left he fired one shot at me, and I emptied the barrel of my 9mm into him."

Nick- "Did you sustain any injuries?"

Ryan- "Yes, I sustained a gun shot to the left shoulder."

Nick- "Did you shoot Carl Chaplin in self defence?"

Ryan- "Yes, I did."

*nick stops the interview*

Nick- "The jury won't understand why you shit him until the gun was empty,"

*She cuts him off*

Ryan- "Adrenaline."

Nick- "I know, I understand, everyone here understands. I'm just warning you now, the jury won't be as understanding."

*she nods*

*they walk out*

Ecklie- "Ryan, do you want to be a Csi?"

Ryan- "Yes."

Ecklie- "Then your gonna need a different last name."

Ryan- "What do you mean?"

Ecklie- "Just a different last name for work. We can't have two Csi Sanders."

Ryan- "My moms maiden name was Matthews."

Ecklie- "Well Csi Matthews, welcome aboard."

Ryan- "Thank you."

Ecklie- "You have your drivers license right."

Ryan- "Yes I do."

Ecklie- "Then just sign these, and you have your job, your gun, and your government issued vehicle."

*Ryan grins*

Ecklie- "Your officially a Csi."

Morgan- "Congratulations."

Ryan- "Thanks."

*She smiles*
