ii . Lunchtime? 🏃🏻‍♂️

The next day.

You usually come earlier than the time should be, you went to your office room and see Taekwoon, sitting on your desk, arms crossing his chest.

"Uh, how...?" you questioned and put your things on your desk. Taekwoon smiled.

"I can't believe that you came earlier. The time shows 7 in the morning. What are you gonna do?" he asked. You takes out plenty files from your rack and shows it to him.

"These files are all about financial. I ain't working for this site but I have to correct their works. That's my easiest job." you replied.

"You're really hardworking woman." he praised. You waved your hand, denying the fact.

"No, I'm not. I'm just pushing myself to be successful woman in my father's eyes. I wanted to be free but my father's impression towards me were more important to me." you said, continue to do some works.

Taekwoon just stared at you and his face went gloomy. "I wish I was like you, Y/N." he said. You looked up to him.

"I guaranteed that I can't make my father proud of me because I'm such a troublesome to him. After my mother died, he was obsessed to make me work like you." he explained and you listened.

"But, after few years, I finished my studies just for HIM but he didn't appreciated my effort to be a successful person. Your father saw me like I desired to be and I was thankful." he said.

"Taekwoon, you need to believe yourself. You are now a big boss of this company and you ain't escape from your responsibilities. Now, our future are in your hands. You need to lead us." you said and gets up from your chair.

"I will help you." you said and he smiled.

"I know I can count on you." he said, "By the way, let's go lunch together today since we are working together." he said.

"Yeah, sure." you replied. Taekwoon was about to walk out but turn back, "You can invite them to join us." he said and walks out. You just stood there cluelessly.

You were cleaning up your desk and a knock make you stop your movements.

"Yes?" you asked and your officemate came in, Hyuna. "Hey, Y/N! Let's head out! Our handsome big boss already waiting for you~" she sang and walks out, leaving you behind.

You sighed and went to the exit door, "Sorry late, busy as always." you apologised. Taekwoon looked at you and nodded.

"Let's go?" he asked but already got pulled by Hyuna and Tzuyu. You just sighed, Hani and Jungyeon come closer to you, "You should just ignore them because they are hoes." Hani said, rolling her eyes.

"Oh well, you're much prettier than them so you can go, girl." Jungyeon said, cheering you up. You just smiled and went out from the office with them.

"Is it a celebration or what?" Hani asked. You just shrugged. "I think so, Hani. He is our new big boss so yeah, you know about it." Jungyeon said. You just have no idea since when they got so close with Taekwoon but you didn't give a f or yes?

They sat in a group table. Taekwoon still talking to them while you just sat there in silent, not blending with them. You used to be friendly and cheerful but today was not a right day to be like that.

Taekwoon sends you a glance, you noticed but ignore it as well. "Y/N ssi, you should choose your drink." Taekwoon said. You startled and start to look at the menu.

"I have no idea what to choose. Just order me anything, I'll be fine." you said, flipping the menu page.

Hyuna put her chin on her palm, "Supervisor Y/N, why did you looked so gloomy?" she asked sarcastically. Your blood start to boil.

"It's nothing to do with you, Hyuna." you replied coldly. Hyuna rolls her eyes. Taekwoon moves his seat to your side since your side was empty.

"I guess we can talk about work together." he said with his serious + blank face. "What do you want to talk about-"

"Our new upcoming project, new big restaurant will be open soon. They still under construction. We should go see them after this." he said. You nodded.

Taekwoon also nodding his head, giving you a little smile of his. Your heart is a bit racy when he did that. You immediately cover your reaction, don't make it obvious as hell.

"Boss, you should ask me to got with you!" Tzuyu said, pouting. You just quietly sipping on your mineral water. Taekwoon gives her a little smile yet gentle. "No, I locked my mind. No more changing." he said. You just feel butterflies inside your stomach.

"This is not fucking right." you thought.
