"Wait Ember." Warren said chasing after her. "NO! You don't get to call me that anymore. Go suck faces with Layla more. She's only using you so she can get stronghold." I said changing my eye color to red.
"May. Your eye color... it's red.." Serena said softly. I quickly changed it to my normal brown.
"You know if you didn't want to be with me anymore, you could've just told me instead of being a coward pathetic little bitch about it? And don't give me the "I didn't want to hurt you" excuse. It's going to to hurt either way but it hurts more that you didn't tell me!" I yelled looking at him. Tears started falling after I said that. He looked like He was going to cry as well but I didn't care. Serena walked away to give us space.
There was a silence between both of us looking at each other. Then he looked down to the floor while I kept my gaze high. "But you know what? It doesn't matter anymore." I started to say.
His head snapped up. "What? Why?" He said. I scoffed. "It doesn't matter anymore because I'm moving away with Serena and her family." I explained looking out the hallway window. "N-no. You can't-" I cut him off.
"Yeah and why the hell not? I've been putting it off because I had you....but now that I don't, I have no reason to stay." I said looking at him hurt. "These will be my last words to you Warren Peace." I said getting out a small notebook from my back pocket and grabbing his hand. "I will be leaving. You will not be following me. And you will continue doing great things here at Sky High." I said with tears streaming down my face.
"May...please..." He said pleaded. I placed the notebook in his hand and closed it. "Everyday I've spent with you is written in there. Everything I've done with you is written in there. Everything we've been through was now written in there. The moment I live the campus this notebook will be filled with our ending as of right now." I said looking at the promise ring he has on that was for both of us. "And when it does, you will move on. You will live a happy life. Just not with me in it. You will find a wonderful woman to spend your life with. And you'll forget about me." I said putting my ring in his hand and letting go of his hand before letting my hands drop to my sides.
"No...." he said looking at the notebook before looking at me again. "Goodbye Warren Peace. Last long ok?" I said smiling painfully to him before stepping back a little before walking away. "May." He said calling out to me. I shook my head before waving goodbye without looking back.
Because I knew if I were to look back. I would lose it.
