I smelled roses. The fragrance was persuading me to open my eyes but they felt too heavy. Slowly, I was able to open them.

Sky blue. My favorite color. I sluggishly scanned the room and it was fully painted with my favorite hue. To my right was a glass window and I could see trees outside. The sweet smell of the roses forced me to look at the side where it came from - to my left I saw a bouquet of bloody red roses. The sight of the flowers made me smile.

The door opened and two women came in. One looked like my mother Olivia - her small face, cute eyes and tiny lips looked exactly like my mother's - but it was impossible that she is my mom because she looked way older than her. The other woman looked familiar too; she would pass as my younger sister Faith if the lady was at least ten years younger.

"Oh my God! Momma!", the younger woman exclaimed.

The older woman was stunned and she stopped moving. She was just staring intently at me.

I was confused with their reactions.

"Who are you?", I wanted to ask but I did not hear my voice. My mouth just opened but no sound came out of it.

The older woman probably figured out that I'm struggling to speak so she walked towards me.

"Baby? How are you feeling?", she asked.

That made me even more confused.

I tried to speak but for the second time, nothing came out of my mouth.

Why can't I speak? Where am I? Why is this woman calling me baby?

These questions kept repeating in my mind.

On my third try, I successfully heard my voice, "Where am I?"
