Bekah woke up the next morning feeling sore. She yawned and stretched her arms above her head. Hopping out of bed, she pulled back on her pajama pants; she didn't want her roommate to see her pants-less. She walked over to the sink in her dorm to brush her teeth, and that's when she saw the bruise."Holy cow!" Bekah gasped and brought a hand to her chin. There was a huge red and purple bruise on the left side of her face. It was too big of bruise to cover up with makeup. Good thing I brought my turtlenecks.
Bekah showered and got ready for the day, pulling on her blue turtle neck and jeans last. She only had three classes today. If she just got through those, she could come back to her dorm and sleep, maybe binge watch some Netflix. She looked at herself in the mirror. She put a lot of sparkly eye shadow on, hoping to draw eyes upward and not down to her chin. The sweater didn't completely hide the bruise, but it helped a little.
She grabbed her backpack and headed out for the day.
