Cinderjess - A VSCO Cinderella 🐋🐢

Part 2

(A/N I know its early but i wasn't bothered waiting till next week ;) )

The family heard about a tour being held by the prince. The prince, Shawn Mendes, was trying to find a new girl to marry, all the girls in the kingdom were invited to attend. Cinderjess was ecstatic when she heard the news, and started throwing her hydroflask up and down in excitement (she didn't drop it :) ). When she was telling Geraldina about her outfit plans, Plasty and Strawty looked at her in disgust. Geraldina exclaimed that Cinderjess was not to attend the ball. Her step-sisters explained to Cinderjess that Shawn was not into vsco girls, rather, girls of royalty. Geraldina then said that Shawn was into Camilla anyways. Cinderjess was depressed for the rest of the day.

The family all received an email with four tickets for the Shawn Mendes tour, however, Geraldina secretly tore up Cinderjess' ticket. When the day of the tour finally came, Plasty, Strawty and Geraldina all got ready. They put on diamond necklaces and big dresses, ready for the night. Cinderjess, on the other hand, was in her room getting ready while making tiktoks. She put on her cowrie shell necklace and chose an oversized tee-shirt. She slipped her feet into her favourite pair of Birkenstocks and told her step-mother that she was ready. "Geraldina, Geraldina! I am all ready for tonight!" Cinderjess shouted with excitement. Her step-mother looked Cinderjess in the eye with disapproval. "Oh no Cinderjess, you got it all wrong. Your tour ticket never arrived, you cannot come to the event tonight," exclaimed Geraldina.

Cinderjess felt sadness rush over her, she had been looking forward to the tour for a month now. Cinderjess sat in her room, as she watched Plasty, Strawty and Geraldina get driven to the tour. Cinderjess cried and wept in her fort as she madly tore down her fairy lights. She unpacked her kanken and looked out the window in despair.

As she cried and cried the two vsco gods heard and flew down towards Cinderjess. The two co-founders of vsco showed up in front of Cinderjess' eyes. Joel Flory and Greg Lutze asked Cinderjess why she was so upset. Cinderjess explained her situation to the gods. Joel and Greg discussed the matter for a few minutes, then came up with a solution. They decided they would transform Cinderjess into a normal person! They found big dresses and nice heels. They applied some makeup and she was all set. The only thing left to change was her way of travel. They told her they needed her Jeep Wrangler, Cinderjess gave them her keys and waited eagerly. In a blink of an eye, her Jeep was turned into a black limo, a perfect way to arrive at the tour. Before Cinderjess was being driven to the tour, her vsco gods warned her that at the struck of midnight, the spell will wear off, and Cinderjess will be turned back into a vsco girl.

When Cinderjess arrived at the tour, Shawn was at the entrance ready to greet everyone. Plasty and Strawty were nowhere to be found, so Cinderjess assumed they were already seated. When Cinderjess arrived at the front of the line, Shawn asked her for a name. Cinderjess asked to stay anonymous. When everyone found their seats, the opening act started. Everyone inside the room started jumping, singing and screaming.

During one of his songs 'Queen', he announced that he would invite one lucky girl on the stage. He pointed his finger directly to Cinderjess and shouted into the microphone, inviting her to join him on stage. Cinderjess was delighted, and as she started to walk up onto the stage, all the girls in the kingdom stared in awe.

 From the stage, Cinderjess could see everyone in the audience, including her step-mother and step-sisters. She looked at them in the eye as they stared at her with envy. She could see Plasty and Strawty muttering to each other, they were clueless about who the mysterious girl was too. When the track started to play at full volume, Cinderjess felt overwhelmed and too excited to speak. She started to dance and sing along with Shawn by her side. She had some of the most fun she's had in a while. 

She quickly grabbed her phone out of her pocket to make a tiktok and she also posted on her snap story. After the song had ended, Shawn was so delighted that he invited Cinderjess to stay on stage with him, she was delighted. As she looked through the audience she could see the envy of Plasty and Strawty, which gave Cinderjess even more happiness. As she stayed on stage singing and dancing, she was still posting for tiktok (as she was tiktok famous). 

Soon, after the party came around and all the girls in the kingdom were led to a private room. There laid a snack table and some chairs and a table. All girls were instructed to take a seat and patiently wait until the prince had entered. When Shawn entered, we were told that the dance had started. Shawn was to dance with whichever girls he chose, and by the end of the night, he was to find a girl to marry. 

When the music started, Shawn automatically walked over to Cinderjess and asked to dance with her. They danced the whole night until Cinderjess spotted the clock, There were three more minutes until 12. Cinderjess started running, however, all of the security team tried to stop her. She finally escaped and there was only one minute left. As she sprinted down the large flight of stairs she felt the spell wearing off. Her dress was turned back into an oversized tee and her diamonds turned into cowrie shells. She watched as her limo turned back into her jeep and her heels turned back into birks.

As she ran, one of her Birkenstocks fell off, but there wasn't any time to waste, she ran as fast as she could until she finally reached her jeep, and drove away into the night. The security team and Shawn all ran outside to find the mysterious girl but she had already vanished out of sight. As they looked all over for her, Shawn found one of her Birkenstocks left on the staircase. He announced, "I WILL NOT LEAVE THIS KINGDOM UNTIL I FIND THE GIRL WHO WORE THIS SHOE,". When the next day arrived, Shawn knocked on everyone's door.

He and his team arrived at Geraldina's home and knocked on the door. Plasty and Strawty were wearing big dresses and glamorous heels ( but all of this still couldn't hide their ugliness). Shawn gave the Birkenstock to Plasty, but her giant foot just wouldn't fit. He then passed it to Strawty, who's foot shape did not fit the mould. Cinderjess watched from the balcony with sadness. Shawn was about to leave until he saw Cinderjess out of the corner of his eye. He told the rest of the group about her. "WAIT! THE ONE IN THE CORNER!" Plasty, Strawty and Geraldina all turned around and gave Cinderjess a disgusted look. "NO! NOT HER!" Geraldina exclaimed. Shawn said he might as well give her a go. He slipped the Birkenstock onto her foot and it was a perfect fit. "THIS IS THE ONE!" They all shouted with happiness.
