After Levy explained about my mothers bar and why we quit the band we all talked and told jokes until we all spilt up to go in different directions it was around midnight when I had returned home I froze when I opened the door to see my father sitting in a chair next to the stair case with a belt in his lap and a beer bottle in his hand "where have you been? Do you know what time it is? Huh?" He yelled I nodded slowly looking to the floor he got up at the speed of light and slapped my so hard I fell to the floor "You are useless and pathetic I regret ever having you as a daughter" he said before he began to repeatedly hit me with the belt but not before slamming the glass bottle against the wall above me making it shatter and allowing the glass to cut me all over my body a few hours of him hitting me I pass out from the pain and blood loss on the floor but not before hearing Nastus voice screaming my name and into dream like memory I went. I had a woken in a grassy field but I recognize it Mum and I used to come here for picnics when I was little flowers littered the valley for miles as far as the eyes could see the sky had turned dark and was now full of stars as fireflies danced around in the air I slowly began walking in the field the walking soon turned to running as a ran and ran until I was out of breath and in the distance I saw a women she turned her head to me as I ran closer to her but stopped when a voice said "Lucy Its not your time stay away" It said I recognized the voice to be my mother the ground under me began disappearing and I fell into the dark void and awoke once again but this time in an unfamiliar room. I sat up "w-where am I?" I asked myself as the memories of what I assume was yesterdays events flooded in along with the pain from my back I flinched at the burning pain in my back the door opened and Nastu appeared "Your awake? How do you feel?" He asked as he sat next me I said nothing as I held on to my arms "Does your back hurt?" he asks I only nod he lets out a sigh "why didnt you tell me about this?" He asked I could feel him staring at me but I reminded silent he let out a frustrated groan before shouting "Answer me damn it!" I flinched as he harshly grabbed my arms making me look at him my eyes began to tear up I leaned back showing that he was scaring me he let me go and turned towards the door but my arm reacted on its own grabbing on to the back of his shirt "I-I was scared I was scared t-that if you found o-out then h-he was going to hurt y-you t-to and it-it scared m-m-me that you m-might not like m-me anymore be-because of h-h-how weak I-I-I am" I cried my grip on his shirt get tighter the more I cried I looked to the floor when I released his shirt and cried more than I ever had before I felt the bed dip beside me as his arms carefully wrapped around me "Oh luce you shouldn't worry about me" he whispered as I cried harder he slowly petted my head and continued "you can stay here if you want and we don't have to get married either if you don't want to" he said quietly he was still rubbing my back as he began singing a lullaby to me as he tried to calm me down.
"Hush now, my story Close your eyes and sleep Waltzing the waves Diving in the deep Stars are shining bright The wind is on the rise Whispering words of long lost lullabies" He sang quietly as if had he sang even a little bit louder I would shatter like delicate glass object that held his life with in and he wouldve died if it had shattered.
"Oh won't you come with me Where the moon is made of gold And in the morning sun We'll be sailing Oh won't you come with me" as he continued to sing I slowly felt my self-drift off in to a world of dreams but this time my dreams were filled by Nastu "Where the ocean meets the sky And as the clouds roll by We'll sing the song of the sea I had a dream last night And heard the sweetest sound I saw a great white light And dancers in the round Castles in the sand Cradles in the trees Don't cry, I'll see you by and by Oh won't you come with me Where the moon is made of gold And in the morning sun We'll be sailing" he continued to carefully drag his hand through my hair "Oh won't you come with me where the ocean meets the sky and as the clouds roll by we'll sing the song of the sea Rolling, Rolling, Rolling, Rolling Oh won't you come with me where the moon is made of gold and in the morning sun we'll be sailing free Oh won't you come with me where the ocean meets the sky and as the clouds roll by we'll sing the song of the sea" Now as he came close to ending the song he had laid me down on to the bed and tucked me in tight and as he was about to leave I gently grabbed his sleeve and spoke "don't go please" I said quietly he gave a soft smile before laying down with me as we both dozed off I said again "I don't mind getting married as long as its you who Im married to" and with that I feel in a peaceful obis.
