“Hey!” Beck said, “Can I see your classes maybe we have some more together!” I sighed trying not to punch him in the face. I turned and tried to focus on the lesson at hand. “Class today we will be getting to know each other better so the person next to you will be your partner.” I sighed there was only one person next to me and that was Beck.  I slowly turned towards my partner. He was grinning like it was the best thing on this earth. I sighed and clichéd my fists.

“Class I’ll give you a list of questions  that you both well answer together. The last one is your choice.” Then Mr. what-ever his name was sat at his desk and drank coffee. I sighed and turned towards Beck. I looked to see the first question was who is your hero. “Well who is your hero?” Beck asked me. He had a serious look on his face like this was the most interesting thing on the planet.

“Robert frost. He wrote mostly about my favorite thing nature.”  I said as if it was common knowledge. Which not even my sisters knew that. But hey they never asked. Beck nodded and said. “My hero is my father. He would struggle with money and taking care of me and my brother but he never complained.”

He sighed like he was thinking of a memory. “So…. Favorite color?” I laughed these questions  were so lame. “Blood red.” I said with a grin. Beck grinned back. “Mine too!” he almost yelled. Everyone turned to look at us I just shrugged and looked at Beck. He did kind of have pleasant voice. Nice and smoky. I quickly shook my head and looked at Beck for the next question. “Okay what’s your religion?” I snorted and said. “I’m a Satanist. I think that’s what you people called it.”

He stared at with like I just spoke in pig latin. I grinned I loved it when people got shocked over little old me. “T-that’s cool. I’m a Christian a Baptist.” I looked at him strangely. “What’s a Christian?” I asked I’ve heard the word but no one would ever tell me what it was.

His eyes widen. “HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW?!” he screamed like it was bloody murder. I just shrugged. I just didn’t know damn calm down. “Well you should know I mean it has a BIG part of your religion.” I cocked my head to the side. Then Mr. What-ever   said. “Class for the next week you will be working with the person you were with today and I want you to get to know each other and then tell the class what kind of person  they are and how you feel about them if you could be friends enemies or more.” Then the bell rang.

I  slowly  got up thinking about what he said. Christian? Never even heard the word before. That’s strange for how long I’ve been on this earth. More then you could ever imagine. I ran up after Beck. “Hey Beck!” I said he quickly turned to see he had a question in is eyes. “Hi…” he said waiting. “Well I’d like to learn more about this Christian thing I mean you said it’s a big part of my religion I’d like to know how. Here’s my address just tell the guy who opens the door that you came to see me. He’ll take you to where I am.” Then I walked off with him smiling like fool. And towards my next class.

I walked in to the lunch room to see my sisters sitting with their new little groups.  Ayn with the rich kids. Zelda with the fakers. Haya with her group of boys.  Adephagiap with the druggies. Invidia with the bitches of the school. Aergia alone. She was to lazy to make ‘friends’. I looked around to find a place to sit. That’s when I saw Beck and his friends. I locked eyes with Beck and he nodded his head for me to come over. I smiled and walked over there. “Hey! Lyssa! I want you to meet my friends. This is Josh,” he pointed to a boy in a yellow shirt with tight black jeans sitting in the chair on one side to him. “and this is Vicki.” He pointed to a girl with oily hair and fish colored eyes with pale pimply skin.

Beck put his arm around me. Vicki looked like she could have ripped my head. Off I nearly laughed. This was going to be fun. I looked to Beck and asked. “Is this your girlfriend?” Which at that she smiled smugly at me. “NoPe.” Beck popped the p. “Good.” I said and with that Vicki frowned. Which made her look even uglier.

I sat down with beck still having his arm around me. I smiled at him. “Oh! You guys will never believe this. Lyssa lives in Devil’s manor!” Everyone at the table gasped. I looked around and asked what they were talking about.

Vicki was the one who answered sneerly. “It’s the home of the devil its where he brings his demons to kill people. They say whoever lives there is a demon from hell.” I started laughing so hard that I could have started crying. “WOW! You guys are crazy.” I said and walked out to see my sisters waiting for me.

Zelda was the first to speak. “Lets ditch!” she said. I nodded and walked out with them.
