Roommates

Chapter 9

I stand up and go under my bed to get the presents I got everyone.
"Right Colby first" I say grabbing his present from under the bed. I hand the present to him and he opens it up.
"Omg thank you tailer!" He says hugging me. Everyone has their presents except calham. I grab the presents and lay them out in front of him, he grabs one of them and pure shock appears on his face,
"Tailer.... no.. I can't have this" he says looking at a new phone.
"Yes you can yours is fucked up" I say. He opens up his other presents and he obviously loves them. I get hugs from everyone and I remember that I need to give Aaron his but what am I supposed to do with jakes, I'll just put it on his bed. I grab Aaron's present and head downstairs with everyone following behind me. I reach the living room where both Aaron and Jake is, great this isn't going to be awkward I think to my self, I feel Corey's arm go around my shoulder.
"Hey it's going to be okay just ignore him, okay?" He said reassuring me that it's fine, okay just do it tailer, no turning back now I say walking into the living room. There he is, I try not to make any eye contact but I can't help but look at him, he has puffy eyes likes he's been crying and dark circles around his eyes. Damn. I walk over to Aaron handing him his present and he opens it giving me a huge hug afterwards.
"Yours is in your room" I say looking over a jake, he just sits there like I didn't even say anything l, wow I really fucked up on choosing what I think is the right person.

I go upstairs by myself to get a few of my things because I want to stay with calham for a few days before he has to go back to Spain. I get to the top of the stairs and hear some walk behind me, I carry on walking to my room and pack a few things. All of a sudden I hear tearing of wrapping paper coming from the room next to mine, that must be jake opening his present. I just ignore it and carry on packing.

After I finish up packing a few things I turn around and see Jake standing at the door way.
"What jake?" I say clearly not wanting to talk to him.
"Um thanks for the camera" he says looking down.
"Yeah sure" I say pushing past him.
"Tailer.. I'm sorry" he says grabbing my arm.
"No jake I don't care, you cheated" I say releasing my arm from his grip.
"But I was drunk" I hear him say but honestly I can't be arsed with his shit at the moment so I walk away.
"Bye guys" I say grabbing Calham's arm pulling him with me.

We get into the car and it falls silent.
"So where to now" calham says starting the car.
"Umm, let's go to regan's and Grayson's so I can give them their presents" I say sitting back in the seat. After a while of driving we arrive to regan's house, I knock on the door and hear the rustling of keys in the door, the door opens and reveals regan.
"Come on in" she says smiling. I walk in with calham following behind. We sit down in the living room so I can hand regan and Grayson their presents. They open them up and I could tell they loved them. I give them both hugs.
"Right we better be off" I say standing up,
"It was nice having you" Grayson says.
"Glad you came over" Regan says giving me another hug. Me and calham walk out and back into the car, he starts driving to his hotel and my phone goes off. I look at the messages to see it is from Jake.

Jake🥀: tailer I'm sorry.
Jake🥀: babe please.
Jake🥀: baby I was drunk please forgive me.
Tailer: Jake just leave me alone for now please, wait until I'm ready to talk to you properly.

I put my phone back into my pocket. And notice calham looking at me,
"It was jake, I just told him to leave me alone for now"
"Okay" he says parking the car. We head back up to his room and I plop myself onto the bed and process what actually happened last night.
