My brother quickly hopped into my car and looked at me "come on go!" I rolled my eyes and started to drive "Ty Dylan is back" my brother said "um that is?" His mouth dropped to the floor.

"HOW COULD YOU FORGET HE WAS YOUR FAVORITE PERSON AS A KID" I winced " DUDE THE EARS" "sorry"see we are vampires and our hearing is primary well for our kind anyways we only 'drink' close to dying people we can tell by their heartbeats if the heart is fast they are not close if it's really really fast they are close to a heart attack if it's slow then they are going to leave in a few months and if it's really really slow the will probably die within the next day.

Well we only do this so it's less likely for us to get in trouble. I parked at school and got out of the car my friend Gene ran over with her vampire mate Jase close behind. Yes us vampires have mates too I still have not found mine and probably won't but I hope I do!

Gene gave me a hug and so did Jase I'm best friends with both of them well Jase wasn't my friend or Gene due to how jerky he could be but he has changed we all walked into school after my brother ditched us

"So the new kid will be here soon" Gene said i rolled my eyes and laughed "he is here he's outside" she sighed "hm." I turned to our lockers they exchanged for my locker to be in the middle i don't know why so it goes Gene a space for another person Me then Jase oh well i kinda wanted my locker somewhere near them anyways.

I turned around to see the new kid with already a good number of friends. I shrugged opened my locker I put my books in and grabbed the books I needed. I soon turned to talk to gene and ran into someone I looked up and seen the most familiar face in my life time.

He smirked "hey Ty" all of a sudden all the moments from when I was a baby came flooding back "Dylan" my head hurt Jase and Gene just stared at me they knew something that was my last thought before I blacked out.
