Hera was shocked when she saw the sleeping male. The lady told her to lie down on the shampoo chair right next to him. Hera lied down carefully, not wanting to wake up Baekhyun and have another awkward encounter. Hera never felt so tense whilst lying down in a salon. 'I didn't know we go to the same salon..' she thought to herself. She's seen a few idols here and there in the salon, but she's never seen EXO members in this salon. She shook her head and decided to calm herself down. 'That's none of my business' she closed her eyes, as she tried to empty her head. Not too long after, she was done with her stuff, whereas Baekhyun was still asleep on the chair next to her. She wondered whether she should wake him up, but before she could do anything, another salon lady entered the room and walked to him. Hera just rushed out, back to the room she was in so that she doesn't could avoid interaction with Baekhyun.
"Please wait, I will call Kevin for you." Hera smiled at the lady as she left. She decided to keep herself busy with her phone. She scrolled down her Instagram feed, trying to find something interesting. She was laughing whilst scrolling through the Instagram account 'Dogs in Foods'. Hera loves dogs, but she doesn't have one since she's always away for work, and worries that she'll be abandoning her dog. That's why her Instagram feed is filled with 10% friends, 10% fashion, 20% random stuff, nd the rest are just posts of animals.
"What're you doing?" Hera almost dropped her phone in shock when a somewhat familiar voice appeared right next to her. She turned around and saw none other than Byun Baekhyun, smiling. She groaned internally, asking the universe what she did wrong. "You don't look too happy seeing me" Baekhyun chuckled when he saw the expression on Hera's face. "I thought I saw you just now, guess I am right." he took the seat next to Hera, turning the chair to face her. "Yeah. I saw you too, but you were asleep." Hera said. Baekhyun hummed. Hera didn't want it to be even more awkward than it already is, so she decided to strike a conversation. "Do you always go to this salon? I've never seen you here before." Baekhyun looked relieved when Hera said that, guess he was also feeling awkward. "No, but I heard you go here, so I decided to try it." Hera flushed and went speechless when he said that.
"Just kidding."When the two words came out, her mouth went agape. Baekhyun, on the other hand, was laughing. He enjoyed watching Hera's reaction, but Hera wasn't as enjoying it as much as him. She scowled and turned the other way. "Okay, okay. I'm sorry. I won't tease you anymore." Baekhyun said as his laughter started to die down. "My previous salon is under renovation, and I heard that this one is good, so I decided to try it out," Baekhyun replied honestly this time. "How long have you been a customer here?" "Hm... it's almost been 4-5 years now." Baekhyun looked genuinely surprised. "Wow.. that's a really long time." "Yeah, I've been friends with Kevin, one of the hairdressers here for a while. He's really good." Hera said. "Oh! I think I met him just now!" "Oh really? What do you think of him?" Hera asked, interested in his response. "I heard him talk with one of the staff, but I found his accent.. a little weird?" Hera laughed whilst nodding her head. Since Kevin lived in America for most of his life, he often mixes Korean with English, and his accent is somewhat forced. The two continued to converse with one another, enjoying each other's presence, not noticing that 20 minutes have passed.
Eventually, Baekhyun had his hair done first, whilst Hera was waiting for her hair treatment to pass. The two didn't converse when the staff was there, they didn't want to stir up unnecessary rumors. When Baekhyun was done with his, he left, giving her a small wave that went unnoticed by the staff. Hera smiled in return.
Right on time as Baekhyun walked out, Kevin went back into the room, whistling. "Can you feel the love, tonightt~" he sang. Hera rolled her eyes. "Shut up. We just got to know each other, as 'friends'. Also, it's afternoon." "Whatever you say~" Kevin teased.
