Zach Lewell was many things. A friend. An amateur writer. A non sport player. A bookworm. A junior. And a Lewell. But he was not a romantic. In fact, Zach had been on zero dates, had zero relationships, and had have never flirted with another person before freaking out and spazzing out like usual. He was not the approacher, he didn't even know how to flirt, let alone talk to another good looking individual without drooling over himself.

So when a blonde haired boy came over by him while Zach was absent mindedly standing in the middle of the halls, waiting for Robin and Angelie, he had no idea what to say when the blonde asked him where the art room was.

"Do you happen to know where the art room is? I forgot, I swear it's 209 but i don't want to take chances." The blonde boy speaks, soft lips moving ever so slightly. Zach tore his gaze from the boy to his shoes, refusing to meet eye contact.

"I uh, hm, you sure you don't have it in your schedule?" Zach choked out, chewing on his lip anxiously.

The boy shook his head no, "Nope, I left it in my locker and it's all the way across campus." The boy sighed, looking at his watch, while scratching the back of his head.

"If you follow that hallway, you'll see two double doors, that's the art room. There are a lot of crackheads so beware." Zach muttered, finally looking at the blue eyed boy. The boy before him chuckled, "thanks; see ya around." He said before walking away down the hall, and giving the brunette boy a wink. Zach sighed, watching as the opposite boy walked down the hall, the butterflies in his stomach disintegrating.

"Why're you looking all lovey dovey?" Angelie grinned, cheeks pink like usual.

Zach, startled from the sudden voice, quirked a smile and scratched his head, while Angelie linked arms with him and walked down the hallway to second period.

Boy. This is going to be a long year.

"So, did you guys see the new kid?" Robin asks, biting into a piece of her chicken sandwich. Apparently Popeyes was the choice of lunch today, which Robin and Angelie were particularly happy about. Robin's question shook Zach out of his gaze from the window of the food chain, a smile peeking on his lips, and the memories from this morning all coming back to him.

"He seems like quite the talk of the day," Ben said. gesturing to instagram, where nearly everyone was tagging the boy in their stories, or his new follower count of 10k. Zach felt stupid for thinking he was the only one who noticed him.

"Well, I think we can all agree he is quite a good looking individual." Robin says, wiping the grease on her fingers with her napkin.

"More like, crazy hot." Angelie smirked, watching as Zach turned bright red, covering his cheeks with his sleeves.

"You guys are delusional," Ben said, rolling his eyes.

"and so is this place, we should start walking back in time for fourth period." Ben muttered, grabbing his wallet and getting out of the booth.

Zach tried ignoring the boy for the rest of the day, almost everybody was talking about him, like he was some sort of celebrity.

He was now almost as popular as Chase Hudson, a boy who had been at Lakeshore High for now 4 years, graduating this spring.

"Noen, my guy." Chase said, slinging an arm around the blonde's shoulders as he winked at some cheerleader.

Noen sheepishly smiled, never mind Chase's hand so close to his ass.

"So, been here for what? Five hours? Got a girl yet?" Chase smirked, face dangerously close to Noen's.

"Something like that." Noen sighed, looking around for the face he saw earlier.
