All I remember is seeing my father getting in a cop car and arrested. But I was only a tiny baby crawling near the outside door. I didn't know what was going on so I didn't know what to think. When I started to grow up, i asked my grandmother about him. But she didn't want to hurt me so she lied. She wanted to wait until I got older. When I was 5, she let me and my sister visit him. We were so happy to see him! We drew pictures for him and talked, but soon it was time to go. My sister drew a wonderful picture for him, and wanted him to take it with him. But he couldn't. So she threw a fit. And it was loud! But all she wanted was my father to take the cute little photo. But he couldn't. I was just standing there. Just waiting for my big sister to just stop, so we could go home.
But she wouldn't. She stomped, yelled, and would not calm down. My grandma tried her best to calm her down, but all she wanted was for my dad to take the paper. So my grandma just said to my sister that she will mail it and that we have to go. And she held my grandmas hand so we can get to the car. And soon my sister forgot about the picture. But my grandma did mail it to my father.
