Throwing a punch right at her face she knocked down her opponent making her black out people started cheering and counting down, as soon as time ran out everyone started shouting and screaming at her victory, she got off the ring and was greeted by fans, the manager comes up to her and gave her five stacks of 50,000 won, she bowed then went to change, when she got changed she left the venue un noticed and got on the first bus she saw.Plugging her earphones in, as she got off the bus,
her thoughts, wandering off into the deepest depths of her mind as she walks down the faintly lit up street. The cold breeze brushed against her skin as she took a deep breath in, thinking what would happen later or tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and so on... vehicles passed by so quickly she wouldn't even notice.Walking past every single person without looking up from her phone, feeling a trickle of water on her left cheek she looks up to the sky and it starts to pour. Some people took their umbrellas out while others rushed inside stores and restaurants while she stayed under the rain, not even fazed. Feeling every drop of rain on her skin, she smiled... And said.
"This feels... great." She giggled. Suddenly the rain stopped hitting her skin. She looked up and saw a tall figure holding an umbrella over her. Before she could say even one word the man gives her the umbrella and leaves in the blink of an eye, she looks around to look for the man... "That's weird..." She said looking around once more before walking off. Finally, stepping into her warm apartment. She took her shoes off and putting them on the rack, she hung her coat onto the clothes hanger and slowly she approached her bathroom.
About 20 minutes later she comes out the bathroom with a towel tightly wrapped around her body, and another towel wrapped around her hair. She goes inside her room and grabs an oversized sweater and her underwear, after getting changed she went to Jihoon's room where he was coloring a picture, he turned around and smiled. Jihoon walked up to her and hugged her, she carried him with her up to the loft and opened the window. As soon as she felt the cold breeze hit her bare skin a shiver ran through her spine. She looked out to the nearby buildings, and stared at the busy cars. Suddenly she remembers the strange man who gave her the umbrella, as she stared out into the distance... Slowly but surely she fell asleep.
She wakes up the following day to an infuriating noise.
"MIN JAEYONGGGGG!" Someone would scream her name.
She hid underneath a pillow. The same voice calls out to her again. "MIN JAEYONG!".
She threw the pillow away.
"WHAT?!" She replied.
"GET. OVER. HERE!" The person said.
Jaeyong stood up and got down from the loft. She dragged her body towards the kitchen.
"Finally you're up!" Her friend and roommate Naeun said as she tossed a bottle of water at Jaeyong.
She caught the bottle and opened it up and gulped all of the water down right away. She saw Jihoon eating snacks on the kitchen counter.
"So have you found your part time job yet?" Naeun said as she cut up some vegetables.
"Nope...." Jaeyong put her head down and sighed.
"You've got to stop fighting every night I mean you look like shit to be honest." Naeun chuckled.
Then she suddenly remembers something. "But the weirdest thing happened to me yesterday." She added.
Naeun dropped the knife and rushed to Jaeyong's side. "What happened?" Her eyes sparkled.
"Well..." Jaeyong looked at the umbrella at the very corner of the room.
Jihoon stared at the two women.
"Well?!" Naeun briefly looked at the umbrella then back at Jaeyong.
"This guy... I didn't see his face properly, he wore black like everything black... Except for his hair, it was fluffy... like a cloud." Jaeyong said as her thoughts started wandering off.
"NO WAY!" Naeun said as she rushed to her room.
Jaeyong raised a brow.
Naeun comes back with her laptop and starts typing furiously. Jaeyong was utterly confused. Naeun faced the laptop screen towards Jaeyong.
"DOES HE LOOK LIKE THIS!?" Naeun points at the picture.
What Naeun searched was an article about a dating scandal between Hwang Hyunjin and Seo Minhee.
Jaeyong's eyes widened. "That's him! But... Who's Hwang Hyunjin?" Jaeyong looked up from the screen to a really shooked Naeun.
"WHAT THE HELL JAEYONG?!" Naeun screamed at Jaeyong's face.
Jaeyong wasn't even fazed, she just had a confused look on her face.
Naeun sighed.
"So let me explain."
