The sound of my phone ringing woke me up from my slumber. I groan and stretch, reading the digital clock. 3:00 in the morning. Ughhhhhhh.
I pick up my phone.

"Hello?"

"Hi Nisaaaaaaa!" My best friend of 3 years greets me.

"Luke, what are you doing up at 3 in the morning?"

"I couldn't sleep.....so i thought maybe you could come over and we could have a early morning movie marathon?"

I giggle at his cute yet awesome idea.

"Yeah, sure. Be there in 5."

I hang up and jump out of bed. I where what i already have on, a black tank and sweat pants. After putting on some flip-flops, i grab my phone, keys, and jacket and head out the door.

After about a 6 minute ride, i find myself at Luke's front door. I knock and he answers the door almost instantly.
"Hey" he says with his signature smile. I couldn't help but feel a little weak in the knees after seeing that smile. Luke doesn't know, but I've been crushing on him for about a year or 2 now.....i cant tell him. Im to scared to ruin our friendship. But i cant help but fall for those gorgeous sea blue eyes, and that childish personality that is absolutely adorable. Luke lets me inside and we both collapse on his couch.
"What movie are we going to watch first?" I ask. He smiles mischievously, and holds up "Nightmare on Elm Street". He knows i hate scary movies!
"Luke no. You know that i hate those kind of movies."i scold. He chuckles and gets up, putting the movie in the DVD player. "Come on Nisa, it'll be fun!" He sits back down and puts his arms around me and kisses my cheek, "I'll protect you"
I blush a little at his words, but focus my attention back to the movie.

About half way through the movie, I'm already scared to death. I squeak and bury my head into Luke's chest as Freddy kills yet, another person. I look up at him and realize that we are literally nose to nose. I stare into his eyes and lean in a little closer, but stop myself quickly. He doesn't even like you! i think.
"U-uh, I'm sorry i shouldn't ha-" i was cut off my Luke crashing his lips to mine. Im shocked for a second, but then kiss back running my fingers through his hair. He pulls away and says "you have no idea how long i have waited to do that"
I giggle, "and you have no idea how long i've been waiting for you to do that"
"I love you so much Nisa" he says and pecks me in the lips.
"I love you too Luke" i smile and snuggle into his chest more.

I guess you could say we lived happily ever after......
