I was at the gym and I was on the treadmill,training for the upcoming 10K marathon here in England, I was minding my own business when I felt the presence of someone watching me

I pushed the emergency stop,the treadmill came to a hault, I grabbed my towel that was flung over the bar of the machine. I took out my earphones and turned to see a rather good looking boy who looked around my age standing behind me with his phone, wait was he recording me

"Can I help you?" I asked but not in a rude way
He chuckled, damn that was adorable, he extended his left arm Infront of me
Oh yeah a hand shake
"Hey,I'm James, James Mcvey" I shook his hand "Gracie *your second name*
I giggled because he was still shaking my hand..
He blushed and quickly looked down at our hands and pulled it away and chuckled again
Oh that chuckle..
"Sorry,but were you recording me or something because I-" he cut me off
"Actually yes I was," he paused " I happened to notice you were singing out loud to come of my bands songs and I thought you sounded quite good for someone working out at the same time"
I leaned down and blushed
"Can I take your number" he asked shyly, it was my turn to chuckle
We exchanged numbers. I think this is going to be the start of a good friendship
Me and James have been meeting up on a regular basis, we have got so much in common which is good and I also may have developed a small small small small very small crush on him
I haven't told anyone because he would never go for a girl like me

I remember the first day we met as I never would never have thought that the girl that I was videoing on my phone singing one of my songs would be my best friend never mind be the girl I'm crushing on..
I haven't made a move yet because she would never go for a guy like me
