The class enters the dome to find Aizawa Sensei and another hero speaking. Apparently, according to the fangirling Izuku, this was pro hero 13, a rescue hero. I was intrigued by their quirk for sure. So strong and uncontrollable, how do they do it? I feel a slight shift in the air and I look to the middle of the room where a portal of sorts begins to appear. Many individuals emerge, the one with hands covering his body making me crumple. No, they found me.

"Stay back! These are real villains!" 13 yells as we all crowd behind them.

I fall to my knees as Tomura stares over my way. I could feel the erkfull smile on his face. No, they couldn't take me back. Suddenly the darkness from before returns and I am left alone with Aizawa who is fighting off some of the villains. I watch scared, what can I do? I don't want to use my quirk here. Not when I am just starting to get along with people for the first time in my life. My legs stand on their own as I take a step towards Aizawa. He looks over at me for a brief second before dodging a villain attack.

"Kid get out of here!"

Screams and explosions are all around me. I notice a group of my classmates fighting the void guy I could never remember. I'm guessing others got teleported elsewhere. My mind drifts to Todoroki. Then to the electric touch we had. I look down to my hands. I'm not a monster. No, I am in the hero class.

"No." I whisper more to myself. A dark aura surrounds me as I make my way to a villain with Lobster hands. He makes a move to hit me, but I simply look at him causing his body to stop moving. I grab his hand, the smell of burning flesh filling my nose causing my stomach to grumble. No (f/n) control yourself. I turn away as the flesh of his arms continues to crumble into nothing under my touch. His screams fill my ears before I can't resist anymore and I bite his throat, ripping it out.

I growl and shift into a shadow, appearing again behind another unsuspecting woman. I wrap my hands around her middle, yanking her into the shadows with me where she dies quickly. I move so fast I don't even know if it is truly me in control anymore. I stop though when a loud roar and crash is heard near me. Turning I notice Aizawa under the hands of a Nomu. Those disgusting creatures I grew up around.

There is screaming and I notice Izuku, Asui, and Mineta wading in the river. Horrified looks on their faces as they stare at me. Tomura moves to attack Asui, but I've always been faster. I move quick and put my shoulder in front of his hand, but nothing happens.

"We've been looking for you, (f/n) dear." The Nomu abandons Aizawa and stares at me, its eyes moving around wickedly. "Why don't you come along withe us and we can go home. You're friends will be safe."

"Never." I scream and punch his ugly face. I jump to attack, only to get grabbed mid air by the Nomu. "I will NEVER go back. I would rather die!"

"If that is what you wish." Tomura grunts.

Nomu squeezes harder. Blood leaks from my mouth as I stare at my classmates. I feel the light slowly fading when a booming voice catches everyone's attention. Nomu drops me but I'm caught by Izuku who places me gently on the ground. I try to move but I think my arms are broken. Fuck, when did I get so weak.

"Don't worry, (f/n)! We will get you fixed up!" He says. A shadow looms over me and I catch white and red hair. I'm being lifted off of the ground slowly, then we are moving. I feel my head spin before I lean my head against the strong chest of my savior, closing my eyes.

"(f/n) wake up."

No. I don't wanna.

The shaking doesn't stop so I open my eyes slowly. Beside me is Recovery Girl, a small smile across her face as she moves so that I can sit up. My body aches, but my arms are surprisingly healed. I smile back and wiggle my fingers.

"You healed a lot without even my quirk. Seems like you're a lucky one."

"I've always had a pretty strong healing factor. Comes in handy when I'm always in tough spots." Her smile falters. "Where is Todoroki?"

"Oh that boy. I sent him home. Cute boy."

"I guess so."

I jump from the bed, ready to go home but stop. Wait. Where was home? I guess at this point I don't even have one. Recovery Girl must have seen my hesitation because she walks over, handing me a slip of paper. On it is an address. But who's?

"Just head over to this location. There you will find a place to stay. Now hurry along, it is rather late."

I bow before making my way out of the school. Along the way it is rather quiet. Streetlamps hang overhead casting a gloomy yellow onto the sidewalks. Not many cars are on the street either. Looking both ways, I shift into my shadow form, racing to the destination. This was possibly the best part of my quirk. The most useful, less destructive part.

My feet stop at the door. It's a small apartment and there are voices on the other side of the door. I knock slowly as to not disturb any other neighbors at this hour. The door opens and standing before me is the broccoli head himself, Izuku.

"Midoriya?"

"(f-f/n)! I'm glad you found my house. I was about to leave and look for you." He moves aside as I step past. My eyes land on a small woman who is currently in the kitchen, this must be his mother.

As I remove my shoes, I take a look at the small area. It was definitely a small, tidy home. More home than that cage I was trapped him. I shiver and stand back up, following Izuku into the dining room where three bowls are set, noodles in a hot broth resting in each. Unintentionally I feel myself scowl, but I hold down the disgust and sit at the chair he pulls out for me. I give his mother a smile as she sits down as well.

"You must be (f/n)! You've only been at the academy for one day and my son won't stop talking about you!"

"M-mom please stop."

"I'm so happy to see he is making friends. Anyways dig in!"

I gulp, moving the soup around with my chopsticks. Izuku is beside me scarfing down the dish like an animal. I giggle and put a little into my mouth. It tastes bland as fuck. Don't vomit. Don't do it. Swallowing, I take a couple more bites before I sit back.

"May I ask why you have offered me a place to stay?"

Ms. Midoriya looks up at me, a sad smile on her face. Is she pitying me? "Well, All Might himself came by asking if we had a place that an extraordinary student could bunk at. Seeing as we have plenty of space, of course I agreed." She laces her hand in mine across the table.

"You're not alone okay?"

Was I crying? I lift a hand up and wipe at my face. I smile back and bow again causing her and Izuku to laugh. "Thank you! Thank you!"

After dinner Izuku showed me to a small room beside his own which happened to be filled with everything All Might. Gosh this boy was weird. The room has a small bed, a desk, and a window with plants on the sill. Boxes and bags lay on my bed. What were all of these. I was afraid to touch them, but Izuku laughs as he hands me one. It was addressed to me from him.

"Everyone in the class heard about your bravery and how you didn't have much. So I guess they all came together and got you things they thought you could use. I hope you enjoy."

Before I can stop myself, my arms are wrapped around him tight, squeezing hard. I let a few more tears slip as he hugs back. His hand rubs soothing circles around my back as I cry harder. He pulls me at arms length, giving me a toothy smile.

"We are all your friends. Just know that, okay? Get some sleep, we've got class tomorrow."

This is what true friendship was. They just welcomed me with open arms and hearts. What wonderful people. I am lucky. My hands shuffle through the gifts. A bunch of clothes from the girls, books and snacks from the boys. Uraraka gave me a phone! I put all of the trash into the pile before I notice one small gift I hadn't before. The little blue tag has only Shouto written on it. I open the box and inside is a beautiful flower, preserved in a small case of glass. It green petals shown bright. A little card falls out.

'A little nature for you.'

I smile, holding the gift close to my chest. Thank you, Shouto.
