The bar was packed, there was drunk ex-soldiers everywhere. Some still worrying about the gunshots, and the bombs exploding, however being safe as they were now in the arms of there beloved.
I was pouring drinks everywhere, taking the 2 shillings it was for a drink. Everyone was talking and chatting until the doors opened, revealing two large men well dressed.
They looked very alike, twins. The one having a freckle on the side of his cheek whereas one having it on there chin. Everyone looking in there way as if they were scared.
"Whose that?" I asked quietly to one of the customers.
"What? You don't know them? That's THE Dolan brothers. Ethan and Grayson. Never mess with them love." An older man said, his eyes never leaving them.
As they made there way over to the bar, the one with the freckle on his chin went over to a group of young ladies, huddled in a group. The other one coming over to me.
"Beer please." He said sternly, placing the money on the counter.
"Y-yes sir" I managed to get out, handing him the beer.
"And who are you darling?, haven't seen you round here before."
"I'm y/n. The barmaid. Pleasure to meet you." Confidence beaming off of me.
"Hmm," he nodded,
"I'll see you later pretty." Walking off to the back room, leaving the money and the full glass of beef on the counter.

I went the round the back room, giving the Dolan brothers what they ordered, two pints of beer obviously.
I could only see the one, the one with the ruffled hair and the freckle on his cheek. A cigar alight in his mouth.
"Stay here" he said, no emotion in his voice.
"Yes?" Looking up at him to see him staring at my eyes.
"Sit down, let's chat."
I nodded,doing as he says.
"So your y/n, 19 years old. Correct?"
"Uhm yes, how did y-"
"I do my research."
"Oh." Shocked.
"I'm Ethan, Ethan Dolan. 20 years old. Leader of the peaky Blinders."
"I've heard."
"Why are you really here y/n?"
"What?" You asked confused.
"Your not a barmaid. Your a spy. Like I said, I do my research."
