Hi... we both asked to the new girl.
My names Sydney, she quickly said.
Oh, well my names Lucas and this is Alex.
Your really pretty, well for a girl. Shot Sydney
This made me annoyed, it's not like I haven't been called a girl before. I'm not the most masculine guy at school, and my short stature doesn't help. Nor my name being gender neutral.
Anyway Lucas, I saw you and wondered, do you have a girlfriend? Sydney asked innocently (she's not innocent) resting her hand on his side.
Actually I'm not really right now, sorry.
Oh ok. She said disappointed
But before she left she stood up and kissed him on the cheek. And left.
Someone's hard. I whispered, and instantly regretted.
He was.

First and second period went well except for this, so in second period (history) I was turning in my paper, well let's just say I kinda sorta fell into Lucas.
I just wanted to stand there and look into his eyes, big and brown with little gold flecks. I just wanted to get lost in them, then I was snapped back to reality.
We get it, y'all are dating! Came from a kid named Dean. (more on him later)
Didn't matter to me. We've been called boyfriends before. And I've heard it all, %90 negative (mostly fag though)
How many time do I have to tell people, we're not dating! Lucas shot at Dean.
I wish.
Did you just say you wish we're dating??
Shit! Did I say that out loud?!
Well did you? Lucas wasn't very patient.
Thankfully the bell broke the silence.

As us two sat at the table for lunch as we always have, table 12 (the reject table) I could tell that Sydney was behind us. Now I know a popular girl at the reject table? Crazy.
So Lucas you wanna come sit at my table Sydney asked sweetly and innocent. Waving to her friend at table 10 (populars)
I guess, as long as Alex can come.
Really? Him?
Yeah he's my friend.
Fine.
I really didn't want to, popular kids just weren't my crowd.
So are you gonna? He asked me.
No.
Really?
Yeah
Right after I said that they move two tables over.
I wish I didn't say that.

Hey my mom said you can come over, if you want.
We do that every year, a sleepover at one of our houses. Since my mom doesn't care (about me) we normally have it at my house.
Sure thing.
Thanks. He went off with a smile.
I just hoped Sydney wasn't gonna be there.
