unfortunately, no.

well, at the same time, yes.

virgil didn't know where to go. i guess the anger just got to him and he just did whatever was on his mind. pretty shocking, at least to him, since he had never been this mad at a person.

right now, he was somewhere in the streets. a place where all of the creepy homeless guys want to get drunk with the little money they have. also a place for cats. a lot of cats.

he liked the cats.

he made friends with a lot of them. sounds pathetic, right? well, yes, but actually no. the cats help virgil calm down. speaking of, here comes one now.

virgil crouched down to pet the cat. "hey, buddy.." he murmured, a smile stretching on his face. the cat was only one of the many, but he thought all of them were special. this cat was a black and white cat, the typical pointy eared cat, blue eyes, all of that jazz. his name was toki, short for... uh... he'll think of something later. right now, virgil needs to focus on finding a place to sleep in, even though he rarely sleeps, so let's just say he needs to find a place to live.

now he actually regrets leaving the dark sides. no, not because he enjoyed their company, but because it was the only place where he could stay at. well, that's all thrown out of the window now. he thought about coming back to the house, but that would be stupid. besides, he wanted this. it was his choice to leave. did he fuck up? ehh... let's hope not.

oh, right, the cat. virgil waved bye to the cat as he stood up from his crouching position. he started walking once more. where is he heading to? wherever his legs take him. he couldn't call anyone to pick him up, since he didn't even have any friends besides the ones that he just left, and he can't call them. what, you expect virgil, paranoia himself, to just call the dark sides and apologize? hell no! he ain't doing that. what if they don't forgive him? they already hate him, he knows it. they'll yell at him. they'll kill him. they'll-

"oof!"

oh, fuck. he just bumped into someone. why wasn't he paying attention?

"u-uh, sorry, sir." virgil apologized, swiftly walking past the guy.

'just walk, just walk, just walk, just-'

"hey! are you okay? what are you doing at this time of night?" asked the guy. great, now he's involved. virgil stopped in his tracks and looked over his shoulder. "uh... it's nothing." he whispered and continued to walk. but the guy started following him. amazing. "hey, hey! slow down, will you? what's gotten you down in the dumps?" the guy asked. virgil shook his head. "come on," the stranger whined, "tell me!"

wow, his whining was annoying. and besides, why would a stranger care for him? this is stranger danger, right? he should just run away from the stranger, right? what if this guy was a rapist? or a serial killer? or a kidnapper?

but... the guy didn't look like any of those things. he looked pretty childish, actually. he was about virgil's height, and that's all virgil could see and/or process right now.

"do you need a ride home? my friends are at a coffee shop not too far away, they could help you!" the man said. a coffee shop? what kind of person opens a coffee shop at-

oh. it's 5:56 a.m. it's very dark out, though. no wonder virgil thought it was 3 a.m. well, november weather, am i right?

"uh..." was what came out of virgil's mouth. "you can trust me, kiddo!" the guy said. well, with that kind of happiness in his voice, how could he say no to the poor guy? virgil nodded, to which the guy squeaked at.

oh boy, this is gonna be a long ride.
