This is a direct recount and quotation of a story told by a common human named Jessie Hollowbrook, and written down by myself, Loki Shviswitch.
"There was this sorcerer runnin' across the countryside n' all that, 'm sure you've 'eard o 'im. Yea, that Brazigg fellow, ta' Bukikin. Anyway, so he came to 'is little town n' started goin' off! Jus' castin all kinda spells an stuff! But then, then then then! This average ol' wanna-be Guard chick in training came out n' just... challenged em! 'e kinda just laughed in her face, before castin' some kinda spell at 'er. She some'ow blocked it n' tried to fight em! 'En she got hit. It was weird, she fell so fas' I didn' believe it! She wen' flyin off a lil' chimney n' landed cross town. 'E seemed almos' surprised when she fell, more so wen' she got up. Wha' was she? Dunno, human or somethin'? 'Cept she was... taller. As tall t'ree barrels stacked on eachother. Wore a mask an' was muscly n' stuff. Wha' was the fight like? Jeez, yer' askin' too much. The lady used some kinda sword, the sorcerer fought wit' magic n' some sorta conjured sword, generally floated aroun' durin' it. Anyway, after a while, 'e relented all like 'Oh, you're so stron', I will return to fight you when 'yer stronger'. That pissed 'er off reaaall good. She practic'lly leapt twen'y feet n' struck 'im down! I dunno what 'appened af'er that, other than 'earin loud boom'n sounds for the res' of the day. No, she never came back. Don' really care what 'appened tah' 'er really, she was super reclusive n' stuff, not at all fun to be 'round. Now I gotta get back 'ta work."
I have taken personal note not to interview her again for information, due to her accent. Her story is childish and unbelievable, yet seems oddly truthful. Other villagers preach a similar story, including the guards vouching for the woman's existence. Apparently she has embellished a lot, or the others are telling a less detailed and simple account of events. My search for stories of Brazeg continue, and my search for information on this nameless woman begin.
