(Y/b/n = your boy Name)
Tonight wasn't like every other night. Tonight was a night where only two boys would be together. Alone.
Maybe not as lovers just as friends. Friends as they would stay forevermore. Nothing would change that. Nothing could change that. Nothing would change the thought in their minds that they were only the best of friends since birth. Basically.
Friends forevermore Y/b/n thought to himself, as he stared out his window.
Tonight the stars seemed to be out brighter then usual. As if screaming for a couple to be out there making love. Longing for a couple to be out there in the woods somewhere. Making love. Happily.
Love is a very complicated thing. Sometimes going with the flow isn't the best idea. That's how Y/b/n took it. He wanted nothing else then to be with somebody.
If it was a silly little crush, puppy love, it didn't matter to him. He just wanted to be happy and in love.
Y/b/n watched as birds would fly past his window. He watched the trees slowly move with the wind's rhythm, as if a song were to be playing.
Y/b/n walked over to his window and opened it. He stared down at the dark green grass which was only 2 feet down, or so, from his window.
He'd jump out this window before. Many times, actually. Staring down at the grass made memories run through his head.
He could see it then.
Himself and his best friend Eddie Kaspbrak running around there. He could see the young Eddie Kaspbrak point up to the window and ask if it were to be Y/b/n's room. He said it was and he suggested to jump off if.
Kaspbrak didn't want him to.
Eddie Kaspbrak was a boy with false allergies and false pills. Eddie was a germaphobe but sometimes he didn't show it around Y/b/n since they could be themselves around each other as kids.
Almost like an act Eddie was playing off of.
Y/b/n did it anyway. He got to the window, opened it, stood there, then he jumped off the window sill and screamed in excitement as he fell to the ground. Nothing broke. Nothing hurt. He felt fine.
Till he started bleeding on his knee. It seemed that he skinned it.. but how?
He didn't touch the bricks that was holding up the little house together. He probably skinned it when he hit the grass. But how?
It had stung a bit but Eddie Kaspbrak has almost everything in his second fanny pack. Bandages, rubbing alcohol (who knew how he got his little hands on that), band-Aids, and much, much more.
Eddie got him all 'patched up' and warned him to be careful or he wouldn't hear the end of it. Y/b/n took the warning and tried to be as careful as possible around Eddie.
But they were older now. 12-13. Things has changed.
Y/b/n isn't as careful as he used to be. Eddie seems to be more of a germaphobe now. He has more pills his mother gave him to take. His asthma got worse. Too worse.
Y/b/n looked around on the grass then behind him. He didn't really know why behind. He just wanted to make sure he was alone.
Y/b/n stood up on the window sill and looked down at his drop. He wasn't afraid. He just didn't wanna get caught. That's what he was afraid of.
Y/b/n took a big jumped and smiled. He replaced the laugh and joyful screams with a simple smile.
He knew he would surely get caught if he yelled.
