Stacey the psychologist had come from the cold north when news of the riots had first started. Living at the military base as a volunteer councillor. She wanted to help the people and stop the conflict before it got too far, but she was only one person. When the bombs started dropping she looked to Roman.
Roman was a marine, he had lived in the city till his 18th birthday, when he joined the army to become a marine. He thought that he could do a few tours, save a few people, and then retire in his home city when he got old. He never thought that his second deployment would be to his home. When the rebels attacked most of the army was wiped out, the rest started to retreat, but Roman fled with Stacey into the city.
They would later learn that leaving the city was never an option.
They found Cupid whilst running from the first set of bombings, he had owned a night club, and even when times got tough he continued to run it. Until the first set of bombings literally took the roof off of the place. With no where to go Cupid started running and meet up with Roman and Stacey.

The smart, rich and famous people had already fled the city. The rest had to figure out how to survive.
This small group of survivors found a quiet place just outside of the worst of the bombed area. They do what they must now to survive and attempt to build a life for themselves.
