*Present*
Third POV:
Emma was eating breakfast with Mary Margaret before they both headed off to work. "Got any plans tonight Emma" Mary Margaret asked as she took a bite of her toast. "Yeah, I got a date with grilled cheese and Netflix. I couldn't be more excited" Emma replied. After some more early morning chatter and just as Emma was going to go get ready for work there was a knock on the door.

"Are you expecting anyone?" Mary Margaret asked.
"Nope, who comes at 8:00 in the morning." Emma says as she heads to the door. She opens the door and sees a familiar face.
"Swan" the person behind the door calls out.
Emma immediately slams the door and leans her back against the door. "No no no! This can't be happening what is he doing here" Emma whispers
"Emma? Who's at the door?" Mary Margaret questions as she walks over to Emma.
"No body important just someone from my past."
"Henry's father"
"How'd you know"
"I can see the hurt in your eyes Emma. Are you going to go talk to him?"
"I don't know. He caused me a lot of pain. Even just looking at him makes me mad."
"Well it might make you feel better if you confront him about it. Just saying" Mary Margaret then heads to the kitchen to finish cleaning up.
"Yeah I think you're right." Emma turns to face the door and takes a big deep breath and opens the door.
"Swan, oh thank god you're okay we really need to ta-" Killian tries to say before he's cut off,
"Whoa whoa whoa, whatever you need we can talk about it somewhere else.. just not here okay. I have to go to work but at 7:00 meet me at a place called granny's." Emma scoffs.
"Okay I'll meet you then." Killian shares a pity smile as he turns and walks away. Emma closes the door and walks over to her mom. Emma sits down and puts her head in her hands.

"I guess Grilled cheese and Netflix will have to take a rain check" Mary Margaret spits out before she heads to the bathroom.
