A Small Prologue

     Kelliana was normal.

      At least, that's what people thought.



      She had voices in her head, but they were real. They could bend reality in ways bystanders could experience.
      I'll explain who ‘they’ all are in a bit.
      But, until then, this chapter is about Kelly. —All she knows about her parents is that her father’s initials are: A.J. She believes that she never had mother. Biologically or Platonically. Of course, adults found that absurd. But the other children found it interesting —That is, before they began to make fun of her for it.

      After all, she was just a lovely, young redhead who was spared; While she was at her second foster home, someone -more like something- had brutally murdered her neglectful guardians.
      She had been watching silently, hidden under the kitchen table. Her knees tucked into her chest, as the voices overlapped in her mind, indistinguishable. They talked without her, alarmed; Not wanting the poor Kelly to know the true danger she was in.

      From that point on, Kelliana had learned to tune out her surroundings. And listen closely to all the voices.
