I walk into the high schools dull white canteen in a pair of black board shorts with my grey 'I smile because I have no idea what's going on' shirt and sobbing is heard coming from the back oval entrance.
"Wonder who that can be?" I think.
I walk to the entrance and walk out it. The wind is blowing and it has a chill to it. My black hair friend Rachel is sitting on the ground and is leaning against the wall sobbing with her knees close to her chest. Her face is hidden in between her legs and I kneel in front of her. She looks up at me and I see her tear stain face.
"What happened?" I ask concerned.
"Jason happened again" Rachel replies.
I sigh softly and stand up. I look to the right of Rachel and there is a set of white metal stairs there leading to something that I didn't know. I walk up the stairs and I reach the top. There are five rooms down the little hallway and each room has a different colour to it. There is a piece of crumbled up white paper pined up next to my head and I look at the paper and read it.
"Billy has the blue room, Naomi has the yellow room, Zack has the green room, Jason has the red room and Rachel has the pink room" I read out loud.
I walk forward and walk past an open blue room. My blonde hair friend Billy is sitting on his bed reading and I walk past an open yellow room. My blonde hair friend Naomi is dancing around like a lunatic and I walk past an open green room. My black hair friend Zack is sitting at his green desk building something and I walk to an open red room. I walk into the room and walk up to my light brown hair boyfriend Jason who is sitting on his red bed. He looks up at me smiling and his smile disappears straight away.
"What's wrong?" Jason asks worried.
"leave Rachel alone" is all I reply.
I punch Jason square in the face and I walk out of his room. I start feeling guilty for punching him but I know I done it for Rachel and I take a deep breath to try to calm myself. I walk past all the open rooms again and walk back down the stairs. I walk bak to Rachel and she stands up.
"Take this Mel" Rachel says.
i look at Rachel confused as she is talkin about something I didn't know and she hands me a pink key.
"You're the new owner of the pink room" Rachel says.
Rachel walks into the canteen and I look at the stairs leading to the rooms.
"Guess I should check out the pink room" I mumble to myself.
i walk back up the stairs and walk past the open rooms again. I walk into an open pink room and walk to the pink bed. I sit down and look around the rest of the room. Every single thing in the room is pink.
"It's so pink" I groan.
Footsteps are coming towards the pink room and I look at the door. Jason walks into the room and he sighs sadly. I notice his eyes is red and you can barely see the black eye forming. It makes me feel even more guilty and I look away from him.
"Why did you hit me?" Jason asks sadly.
"Because you hurt Rachel again" I reply sadly.
Jason walks up to me and pulls me of the bed. I look at everything but him knowing my eyes probably show how guilty I feel an Jason lifts my chin up with two fingers so I'm looking at him.
"I'm sorry for that and don't feel guilty I deserved it" Jason says.
"How did..?" I start but Jason cuts me off.
