Trusting A Stranger (Soriku)

Part 10:Heartless?!

     Riku ran faster as his worry grew stronger. He wasn't even out of breath. His hair flew in the wind majestically, his eyes full of worry. "Kairi!!" I yelled and we heard her yell again. "Help me!!!" Kairi yelled loudly. Riku started running so fast that I couldn't keep up. Suddenly, Riku slid to a stop.

    Kairi was surrounded by heartless, completely powerless. Riku summoned his Keyblade and attacked the heartless with all of his might. "Kairi! Run!" Riku yelled to her. "Okay, but, are you guys going to be okay?" Kairi asks with worry in her tone. "We'll be fine, just go somewhere safe!" I yelled while summoning my Keyblade. She quickly ran away and me and Riku were fighting the heartless. "Aach!" I got hit by a heartless, and it hit me hard.

     Riku gasped and looked down at me. "Sora!" He yelled and suddenly, his eyes turned red. "You monsters leave him alone!!" His halo glowed red, just like his eyes. He bravely attacked and struck the heartless, making sure I was okay after killing one. I lifted my hand off where I was hit, and I was bleeding heavily. I gasped in pain. Riku looked over and his eyes widened as he saw me bleeding. He killed the last one and ran over to me. "S-Sora! S-stay down..I-I'm going to t-try to help y-you.." Riku was breathing really hard, tears falling from his eyes. He took his jacket off and wrapped it around my waist, where the wound was. "R-Riku..." I couldn't keep my eyes open. "Stay awake, what ever you do, don't fall asleep! Please.." His voice sounded urgent. I gasped as Riku tried to stop the bleeding. Riku sobbed and wiped his eyes and continued what he was doing. He suddenly grabbed my hand and closed his eyes. "Oh no.." He whispered and tried to stop the blood from leaving my body. My eyes couldn't stay open anymore. I closed my eyes softly, I heard Riku yell 'No!', and he started screaming 'Help! Somebody! Please help me!" Riku was full on crying, suddenly, I felt someone pick me up.
