________________________________Taymor closed his eyes for a second and opened them again, Brown orbs lazily looked at the screen of his phone, watching the his phone for while I'm the charger and buzz, indicating that it was charging.
He sighed and looked over at baby Kayden before falling face first in his pillow. He swore he had just saw a notification, saying Kentrell followed him.
He had no option but to sleep and look at it in the morning.
He closed his mouth, after letting out a yawn, and let sleep overtake his body.
-
In the morning Taymor woke up to his alarm blaring in the background. He turned to it and dismissed the alarm. He laid on his stomach, sighing softly. He listened to the birds chirping outside his window, before sitting up and stretching his limbs.
He stood up to see Kay with one leg out of the sheets, and one still in the sheets, chest heaving slowly, up and down. He laughed as he watched spit dribbling down the side of his chin, from his small parted lips.
He smiled, and quickly took his phone off the charger to take a quick picture of his son. The little boy quirked up, eyes still closed, at the sound of a camera going off.
He slightly chuckled.
"Come on, baby. Let's get you up and showered." Taymor whispered gently, knowing how cranky his baby boy could be.
He shook his head, a small smile on his lips, when Kayden fell back on the bed.
"Ma, can I get fwive minutes." Kayden squeaked.
Taymor nodded his head.
"Sure." Knowing his boy hadn't seen him nod.
Taymor left his room, cracking his neck and walked up to the kitchen. He raised his eyebrows at the sight of his Grandma smiling like a teenage girl talking to their crush, at her phone.
"Mama?" The lady snapped her head up to see her grandson. She raised her eyebrows too.
"Oh get, hun? Sleep good?" She looked back at her screen, before turning her phone off, and gazing up and Taymor.
"Uh, yeah. Why were you making goo goo eyes at your phone?" He gave her a knowing look.
"It's that nigga, Frank. Right?" She glanced back at her phone, shrugging her shoulders.
She looked back up at him.
"Boy, what if it's him? What you gon' do?" She raised one eyebrow, looking at him expectantly.
He shook his head.
"Nothing, Ma. Just, white man got you all in love." He snickered.
"I am not in love. Real bitches don't fall in love first. He's in love with me. That's that. Why am I telling yo' lil ass this? Get the fuck out ma business, negro. What you here for? Shouldn't you be out there getting yourself and Kay ready for school?" She shook her head, slapping her forehead, lightly. Then she turned to Taymor.
"Aight. Damn. I came to make breakfast first. Then, I'll get myself and Kay ready for school." He raised his hands in surrender, a pan in his hand.
"Well, go on. Chop chop, lil nigga." She clapped her hands.
It got quiet in the room. All that was heard was the food on the pan, sizzling and the goggles of his grandma, once in a while. He kept on giving her looks, then moving his hips to the tune in his head.
